  1. Thank you for your honesty but for me personally this means that I probably won't start another save in this game. I play the game for longtime saves and the most fun part for me is developing youngsters, which I can't really enjoy knowing that the development system is broken. Maybe that's unfair because apparently in the past the system was worse, but I started with FM19 and it didn't really bother me until FM23, but now I just can't unsee it. It's a bit worrying though that apparently you can't really do anything about it and it doesn't sound like you are planning any kind of "development revamp" for the next edition, but it's fine, I know most players are not that bothered by it. Actually it feels better, now I can make a clean cut with this game and don't have to have hope in small "updates" that in the end don't change anything at all. Don´t get me wrong, you made a good game and many people have fun with it and that's great, but it's just not for me anymore. I will have an eye on future editions though, maybe this aspect will get better and you will get a fan back!
  2. I really don't think they are going to fix it. The issue is known for years and apparently didn't get any better. Either it's a problem that's deeply rooted in the game mechanics (and they can't solve it) or it doesn't have any priority for them. Either way this is not a "bug" that keeps the game from working so it won't have any priority before full release. What concerns me is the engine change next year. It probably will be the focus for them and I will bet money that this will be fixed in the next few years. If I look through the forums there aren't so many people that seem to care about this. Could someone please tell me that I'm wrong?
  3. I would understand it if this was an indie game, but the fm series sells over a million (?) copies every year and I can't even find a developers reaction to a complaint about this anywhere in the forums. I would really like to know WHY this is so hard to fix, but at this point I doubt that we will get an answer. Longtime saves sadly don't appear to be the focus for the developers, but maybe people would do more longtime saves if it worked better. (I can imagine that it's incredible hard to build a persistent and believable economy that simulates dozens of years into the future, but who else could do it but SI with years of experience in this field and the resources they have by now (and they earned it by hard work!) But often it's things like these that destroy the fun and immersion for me, things that I imagine appear relatively easy fixable).
  4. Thanks for running the simulation:) Could you see if there were still so few newgens with low ratings in crossing (especially wingbacks), penalty- and free-kick-taking in the future? This has been promised to be fixed for a few years...
