I'm sorry to write again after a month, but I do it in case it is useful and you want to close the thread. After advancing one year in the game and qualifying again for the Copa Libertadores, I confirm what you said in your last message; this problem only occurs in the previous rounds of the cup. Once you enter the group stage, you can modify the registration list without any problems. Thank you very much for your answer that motivated me to continue that game instead of starting another or stop playing, thanks for your assistance and congratulations on this great game. -

This is sort of glitchy, but since I found this guy I look for him on every save I got. Santiago Bellini. He's not a superstar and neither a wonderkid; he's a 25 years old guy playing at the worst league of the continent: Uruguay's 2nd tier. He's a 6'4'' striker with pretty average or even bad stats on everything but in key attributes for his role like jumping reach (18), balance (17), strength (16), heading (15). I bought Santiago on the second half of the season playing on Uruguay 1st division and he ended being the top scorer on only a half of the tournament. 33 goals, the 2nd one scored only 25 over the whole season. I paired him with a really good specialist on corner kicking (17, Hernán Novick). Every two corners, you got a goal approximately. An absolute monster I bought for only 20k IIRC on my last game! -
The first time I realized it was yesterday, when I first arrived at this date (January 22nd) and received the mail about the team registration. It didn't happen when you get the registration mail for any competition before, although this is my first time playing Libertadores. If you load a previous save, you can choose the squad for registration without problems, but it doesn't matter because when January 22 arrives and you get that email, the problem reappears. The same players will "turn" registered as you get the email, the same will go not registered and you won't be able to check or uncheck them from the list as I stated before. I've uploaded the two latest saves I got; one is from the day prior to the message (like 8 hours or so before it) and the other is two weeks before it happened. Don't have any save between those two dates, I hope is okay for you! Thanks a lot for your attention!

Hi! When the message asking me to register my players for Libertadores Cup arrives, it seems pretty weird. I'm allowed to only uncheck players from the list; if I click on the check mark then nothing happens, but if I click on the X next to an already registered player, then I can not register him back again. I have not this problem at all into our domestic League (Uruguay 1st Division) as I can check or uncheck whoever I want without any problem before sending the list. I tried to simulate this date using holidays, but the problem persists, as the game won't add the players I've bought over the last year. I also tried going to the registration squad screen for Libertadores Cup BEFORE the message arrives, and then I can set my list without any issue, but then when January 22nd arrives then this thing happens again. I've been in this club (Boston River, Uruguay 1st tier) for one season and half. On my first season we played Copa Sudamericana (like UEFA Europa League for South America) and I had no problem at all; I could register my new signings. This season we qualyfied to Libertadores (a tier above, like Champions League) and then this issue appears; the players that appear as already registered are the players that played Sudamericana one year ago; the players I've signed over the last two transfer periods are not registered and I can't click on the check mark to add them. Maybe the game got stuck with my list for Sudamericana last year and that's the origin of the problem? Just lucubrations!
