  1. In FM24, clubs simply give up on any development of their players. Not only wonderkids, but generally talented players or those in their prime. They simply buy them and leave them on the bench for 3-4 years and then put them up for sale. There is no pleasure on the transfer market when I manage to buy such great players for worse prices, because thanks to the mistakes in the current edition, they are simply forced into my team. Out of curiosity, I returned to FM22 to compare this aspect of the game and, unfortunately, it is a gulf. I lost any desire to continue playing FM24. A key aspect of the game is just absolutely broken. The whole thing is complemented by absurd market offers offered by clubs from Saudi Arabia, which completely destroys the transfer market.
  2. I mean this file, which unfortunately has expired and I haven't found another one anywhere. https://fminside.net/downloads/misc-graphics/166-fm21-media-sources-backgrounds#google_vignette
  3. I lost any desire to continue playing FM24. The system of developing juniors and giving young players a chance in the first team is one big absurdity. Even the great add-on from Daveincid doesn't help. Virtually every talented footballer purchased by an unskilled player has not been able to get off the bench for 2-3 years in his club, which often first paid a lot for him and then simply forgot about him. I played many hours of FM22 or FM19 and I don't remember such a poor system for developing wonderkids by AI.
  4. Do you use offside traps? I remember that in FM22 it was the basic defensive game mechanism, I play with a balanced mentality on a high defense line, but I don't see any special difference with playing a higher or neutral defense line
  5. I don't remember an edition in which playing in the middle of the field would bring such excellent results. I would probably have to go back to the times of FM16/17, where the 4-3-3 tactic with three strikers was a hammer against every rival.
  6. Two questions: 1. When can we expect the April update? 2. Will the April update affect the match engine in any way?
  7. In the tactical and training panel, the players' attributes are still visible in the form of numbers ;./
  8. My save is broken. Every time I go to the profile of Palermo player Kristoffer Lund and click the "make an offer" tab, the game freezes and I have to log out, otherwise I can't even click on exit. Absurd. I changed skins but it didn't help either. Interestingly, when saving the same save made a year earlier, there is no such problem (or maybe it is but with a different player and I didn't have a chance to check it? I don't know). I am attaching a link to the save https://www.easypaste.org/file/bV927c8l/KARIERAtst.v02.fm?lang=pl
  9. Best Attributeless Skin for FM24?
  10. FM 24 is very easy, despite playing in hard mode, which means giving up killer tactics. I focused on my old 4-3-3 proven in previus versions, with three central midfielders and three strikers and playing in the middle of the field - i think i broke all the recommendations from the forum People write here that the central midfielders have been nerfed, but i dont see it, and im writing about my Casertana, with whom I entered Serie A in third season, and, as my schedule shows, i'm doing quite well
  11. Miles mentioned that there will be another update in a month. I understand that it will only apply to squads and matters that do not affect the match engine? So there will be no more interference in ME in FM24? Can i finally start a long save without any worries?
  12. I'm talking about a discussion from reddit regarding complications and misunderstandings between Unity and previous game publishers like Skylines
  13. First of all, you should give up the stars defining the level of the training base and replace them with a scale from 1-10. The current system does not reflect the expenditure that top clubs actually spend of their centres. These amounts amount to hundreds of milions of euros. In the game it is enough to ask the board 3-4 times for expansion and within a few years any european average team has training facilities at the level of Real or Bayern and it doesn't look like that. The same goes for the coaching stuff. Just as a fottballer looks at the possibility of development in a new club when singing a contract, the same should be taken into account by the coach and, for example, refuse to engage due to a too weak training base. The possibility of expanding the medical center should also be added. These are all very important factors that have a great impact in today's football and need to be properly reflected in the game
  14. The new training template in fm19 was a breakthrough, something that divides the fm series into pre-fm19 and post-fm19 versions. For the next 4 editions, nothing similar appeared that would change gameplay to such a large extent. FM24 must have something similar in it that will encourage me to buy it. In my case, it needs to be a brand new interface and set pieces creator
  15. FM23 dissapointed me, there are practically no changes compared to the previous edition, apart from a few more unnecessary features that have absolutely no effect on the gameplay and only take time for pointless clicking. In my case, in order to spend money on the FM24 the absolute minimum is an extensive board interaction panel, especially if i am very successful with the team the managment should give me the keys to the whole club, something like Guardiola or Ferguson in Manchester United
  16. I remember that in FM14 there was no problem with fluidity even after 15 years of gameplay, unfortunately, but my laptop is not able to pull FM23 further than 6-7 seasons on a small base (it stutters or the game crashes)
  17. There will be no more work on the new ME patch FM23 hence my question. In addition; Will the interface be refreshed? We've had the same graphic design for years, which has become tedious Will women's football appear in FM24? At what stage are the works?
  18. Can i expect another update to fix the match engine? Is there a stance from the game developers on this?
  19. Can we expect another patch to fix the match engine? Will subsequent patches only improve the gameplay or correct various technical errors?
  20. A new graphic would be nice. No one will suffer if every 5-6 years AI releases any changes to the side panels, home screen or tabs. Regardless of what's new or improved ME, the mind just gets tired of seeing practically the same graphics every year.
  21. There is too much clicking in FM23, it's really tedious and kills all gameplay - it's the most important thing, it's what ensures many years of careers. In FM19 I was able to run one save until 2055 - in the Champions League semi-final I met Fiorentina led by my former student from AC Bari! In FM23, I'm exhausted after half of the season, there are so many useless things that don't affect the gameplay that I don't feel like continuing.
  22. I direct my post to all people complaining about the lack of realism of the game, complaining about boring entertainment, or too easy gameplay. Most likely, you chose too few playable leagues and unknowingly took away 90% of the essence of the football manager series. What things are you losing? I will list the most important ones. 1. Easier to succeed in European cups. By choosing 1-2 playable leagues, I was able to report to the Champions League finals after 5 seasons, leading Guingamp, Valencienes or Mallorca. Why? Because I was playing against artificial rivals, without real players, the AI was severely handicapped at that time, the opponent's manager practically does not react to field events, he uses standard tactics and even battles with Liverpool or Bayern are not that difficult. If you play against a team from a playable league, the situation changes dramatically - their coach has a full squad at his disposal, conducts transfers, selects the right tactics, observes how you play and can react appropriately during the match. Then even battles with teams from Ukrainian or Scottish leagues can check the difficulties. 2. Transfer market. It's something that always burns my eyes when I see my friends play in one league of their choice. If you run a league average, you take away the competition for the fight for wonderkids because only teams from your league enter the race, or PSG or Bayern sometimes make offers automatically (but it must be a really great talent for the AI to start for a moment). In one playable league, it is trivial to complete a squad full of super newgens, because they often leave their teams on a free transfer (we are talking about unplayable leagues). Leading Mallorca or Sociedad, after 4-5 years, I had a team full of talented Germans, Belgians and Portuguese who came to me for free, although half of Europe should be fighting for them. And the real drama is running a weakling, for example, from the second French or German league, having one playable league - 90% of interesting talents from the other end of the world are eliminated, on which you can earn money in the future or base your developing team on them. You are then limited to your home league and if it is strong, few talents want to play for you, so you are doomed to buy mediocre and dropouts from better teams. Of course, you can then choose one playable league and a huge database, but then again we go back to the second problem - lack of transfer realism, because you and maybe another club from your league are fighting for a super talent from Poland, Colombia or Croatia. 3. Long saves. (For me, this is the essence of the whole game and the greatest pleasure) You don't want to play in one selected league after a few seasons. At least I feel like I'm playing something between a demo version and an invisible wall separating me from the rest of the world, and whether I just won La Liga for the 5th time or just got promoted to the top league - the world outside the country where I play simply doesn't exist . There is no way to change to a foreign club when you feel that you need new challenges, there is no way to lead Betis Sevilla for 7 years, make it a dominator, and then go to Leverkusen and sign an inconspicuous 19-year-old Serb from your former club, whom you bought for two years ago, and you know from scout reports that this is the new Milinkovic-Savic. Or there's no way to manage Bari for 12 years, then Auxerre for 7, then make a European powerhouse with PSV and go to the semi-finals against Arsenal, which is run by an Italian who commanded your midfield in Bari and now in the pre-match interview he emphasizes how much you owes (I had this situation twice and both times I felt fulfilled as a virtual manager) I could write even more, but I think you know from the above entry what I mean. If you have durable computers that can easily handle a 120,000 database, don't even think about it.
