Is there a work around for game pass??

Seems a lot are having this issue, signed up as I’ve been enjoying FM23, ME seemed great and I had to really tweak my tactics this year (ended up with a double pivot which I’ve not had for about ten years!) Unfortunately since the update the other day my game is incredibly laggy, borderline unplayable. Matches take forever, the animations are woeful and the processing time outside of games is awful. Everything feels way clunkier and slower as well. I’ve checked and it’s saying my computers graphics capability is 1 star (it was 5 previously) - I’m on Game Pass by the way, can’t seem to find a fix for it? Is there anything I could try? Thanks in advance!
