Well god damn, you can't say we didnt absolutely stick it to them. We never beat a big team but our biggest loss was 4-0 to eventual champions newtown, and honestly, thats not too bad. 34 points, 8 wins, and staying up to fight another season when we've proven we can just about play in that midpack. Youth intake was alright we've got some more starters from it but still, nobody to really write home about. Can't complain overall. We were deadly from set pieces, with 14 of our 41 goals coming from them, but, we also conceded way too many (22 of 61) and will have to change our set piece defense next season, with all of this I firmly believe that we can stay up and push for the European Playoffs next season. Honestly, embarrassing. We lost our GK and didnt really have a good replacement and it shows in us completely underperforming our xG and just having a bad time at it overall really. We are officially so back, these seasons will be going quickly as I'm semi pro and don't have much to do other than going through these games, honestly, we were unfortunate not to be in the promotion fight, we were thereabouts until January where we went 7 games straight without a win, sucks, but, the youth intake was good and when we had them we went 3 wins 1 loss against decent teams in the league, can't complain, can't complain. Mumbles Rangers FC - JD Cymru South - 2024/2025 League Results SURVIVAL!! Season was never exactly in doubt, but we went on a 9 game winless run from November to February after we lost our starting CB, zero particularly good players or stunners but we were the best out of the strugglers and it really showed with us putting in some exceptionally dominant performances over these relegated teams, so, happy, and a base to work off of. CUPS Honestly, less said the better, we just weren't great and it showed, had to focus on the league though because we knew it'd be a tough relegation battle. Youth Intake In a word - Disappointing, some star players but they don't play in positions the team provides as of now, which leads to a bit of a tactical issue, but I think I'll just retrain them as its not too big an issue, not enough CBs coming through so probably not a good season next year either. Our star graduate is probably Robert Wheatley, our goalkeeper, honestly looks like he'll be with us for a good few years now, perfect for the SK role we play. THE TACTIC AND HOW WE LINED UP:

There's another promotion! Love to see it. Finances are still iffy but this years youth intake was INCREDIBLE with 6, maybe 9 starters once they hit 16, this rule is killing me. We've managed to get youth recruitment to excellent despite the fact we've not been in the green since February 2025, so I love the board backing me here. I'm hoping promotion brings us a lot of money, but we'll see. We scored the most in the league and conceded the 2nd most so we could really use better defense, but its a long process. If my mumbles save is anything to go by the goals conceded will drop within quite a few youth intakes. Also youth team was not promoted not sure why I thought that League Performance Cup Performance Youth Intake All in all, a pretty good season, squad has stayed basically the same so there's not much point in showing it, but next season when some prospects come up you will (hopefully) not be disappointed.

Right, I've got good news and bad news. Good news is we stayed up by quite a bit, never really in danger of relegation but never really able to push into the promotion group, so we came 2nd in the relegation group which felt quite good. Bad news is we're in crippling debt because I went a little bit overboard on the junior coaching and youth recruitment, happens to the best of us I swear! Next season I'm going for promotion group because we desperately need money, so I'll be pushing the squad farther than they can probably take us. I got some good prospects, my personal favourite is my new temperamental faroese midfielder. Love that guy already. He's also the Faroe Islands under 18s Vice-captain, which I think is quite cool. I grabbed it and never looked back., we've changed to a 4-2-4 after getting a great striker in our youth intake, think I'll go to the 4-4-2 I used in mumbles though, its producing some decent results in some other saves so I think I'll put it in here too. New team, same me. Not exactly the greatest season but we just managed to survive in the relegation group. Under 16s can't play so 12 of our youth players have to wait until next season for their first deam debuts, I've elected to play a 4-3-3 after trying some formations with 5 at the back, we're playing quite well but definitely a long way until we can even challenge for promotion.
