    Southampton - Adam Armstrong,

Does not have central midfielder listed amongst positions he can play in.  Is more often than not played in midfield these days, and it was one of his positions in the DB in the alpha version.

I disagree with your assertion he is "more often than not played in midfield these days". He's played two games as a centre-midfielder in his entire career.

This is a non-issue. What rating should we have him as a MC? Unconvincing at best?

We'll review his positions, as we will with every player, for the next official data update.

He returned from his ACL in pre-season as that article states, but the club have only mentioned an undisclosed minor injury since then (23rd Aug), and that they are being careful with him. I'm not sure what you would expect us to be able to do with that lack of info really.

  3. HI Lewis.

Is there any proof of you being employed by the club, apart from your own LinkedIn page?

I do not know how you expect the research team to know who is on the St Albans data team if they have not posted or stated that they even have one. Maybe they have done- if so, you will be able to pass that evidence on to us.

The absolute first we have heard of St Albans having an analyst is you posting here to say you are it. And we need more than that.

    Okay that's even weirder.

Hmm, wondering if some of the outstanding transfer fees owed by Wolves to Burnley, and by Burnley to Stoke, are being considered in the fee somehow!

Following the way the United RW and the City LB were dealt with after their highly publicised cases, Jack Diamond will need removing from Lincoln/Sunderland for the same reason

Well yes, but as this news was only broken today and we had no prior knowledge of the case, clearly this will have to be in the next data update, which is for the Chinese window only. Given the circumstances we will work to include this case.

This was missing from the update...

It was definitely changed for the update, submitted on 23rd Feb.

He is set in the database as natural SC, and competence as a gk as he'd played that until last year.

However it appears as if, by setting him as a competent gk, that overrides any outfield positions by default, which I was unaware of (seeing we've never had any such player for 15+ years).

I played 20,21 and 22 with no issues with the wages, but yet it’s different for 23? But all I get back is useless excuses and people blaming others, I shouldn’t have to provide proof, I know exactly what I’m talking about.

I am guessing as to the exact issue, as you have not explained it clearly. So, my reply below is a guess based on the general terms of your message.

Now I've looked at the SPS player data in the database, and note that most of the squad are set as "part-time". I suspect this is what you are unhappy about.

The Northern Premier League research team would have set those player contracts to their best of their knowledge. Now, SPS are not a club well known for revealing details of player contracts, as I am sure you are aware. So, as we always have to do, we have had to estimate the contract types.

As requested in my last post in this thread, if you are aware that specific players should not be set to "part-time" and should be set as "non-contract", then please do let us know which players they are. Because personally I do not know which players in the SPS squad are on part-time contracts and which ones are on non-contracts, as that information is not available publicly.

Also, if you are someone specifically interested in that club, are you keen to step up to help the research team by providing research for the next version of the game?

  8. Researchers will set contracts to the best of their knowledge.

Of course, the only people who know how much a player is paid and what sort of contract they are on are a0 the player, b0 the club and c) the taxman. The rest is speculation.

Can you inform us which specific players should be 'non-contract' instead of 'part-time', and can you provide proof of your argument, please?
