  1. Can appreciate waiting for the ME update, it's my only real gripe with the game though at times so will stick out like a sore thumb As for no changelist - really poor, it's 2022 not 2015 Edit: I know there'll be a changelist with the next update as usual, but I think for the future there needs to be a way to try and streamline the gap between the two updates and start evolving into the modern world of gaming
  2. Bin off the intake preview, or make it purely state how many players you're getting from what positions Purely cosmetic feature, that is always widely off the mark
  3. Big game during international duty - I'm in March 2026 - pretty simple
  4. I still think - both from the numbers and match engine experience - that interceptions are inflated, regardless. Either that, or the passing accuracy of players is poorer than usual regardless of tactical instruction, since most goals seem to be happening in a similar pattern that relates to interceptions and they seem to be the main cause of the whole ping-pong chaos effect happening in ME. I'd also like to think that interceptions are pretty black and white - seeing quadrupled numbers is still really intriguing to me - but the right teams are getting the most interceptions as is reflective of real life team performances and the right positions on the pitch are intercepting the ball more often - so maybe also my eyes are just deceiving me.
  5. so, I pointed out the very heavily inflated interception numbers but another thing that is happening a lot is hitting the woodwork - having a lot of matches with them over the 2 seasons i've done, maybe something to tone down a touch edit: if anyone wants evidence of the interceptions being broken compared to RL counterpart, just ask - or go on stat tracking applications (even premier league, although that one requires a calculator to figure out a teams average interceptions) and compare it to the averages in your save across all leagues - I'm personally finding averages in the 30s and 40s by November, where as real life has most teams below 15 average interceptions per 90.
  6. Interception numbers are HEAVILY inflated - and some highlights are full of a ridiculous amount of them - for example on SofaScore, as of 21/10/2022, Dortmund have an average of 11.2 interceptions per game. In my save, as of 05/11/2022, they have 29 - Two-Nine - interceptions per game, with high numbers across the majority of clubs Fullbacks try too many diagonal balls from their own half - they're pretty sweet when they come off, and sometimes it does look like the most clear option, but possession tactics don't really seem to translate to the majority of goal or clear cut chance highlights in my experience so far I've had some weird goals scored + conceded from janky keeper animations (leaning down to try and pick up a ball that's been blasted at them, the ball seemingly deflecting off thin air above their shoulders, for example) Too many mistakes come from the same positions on the pitch from AI and player-controlled teams - usually a fullback holding onto the ball near their own box, tackled, cross, tap in goal - they're obviously fine but they seem to be repetitive across different player and team instructions Another thing with fullbacks regardless of player and team instruction is that they often shoot too much - and any player finding themselves wide of the goal shoot at ridiculous, impossible angles usually, rather than passing it (circa FM2018, makes my spine shudder) Every game also seems to have "Tell them to stay on feet" only for 2 minutes later to be told "remove stay on feet" Other than that (so far) and bugs people will note, for me the game is top notch and when the match engine is doing things right it's the best it's ever been by a long shot
