    I'm not a english speaker but i really hope that "Furter improvements to match engine" means "We are lowering the amount of goals that this ridiculous ME that looks more like a basketball match produces" I really wish to play the game that i paid 20% of a monthly minimum wage of the country i live

    Apart from the exceeded amount of goals problem, IMO this has been indeed the best match engine that we've played. Altough it's unplayabe for now. Which is kinda funny, it's unplayable but it's one fix away for beeing the best ME of all time

    I'm pretty sure that everybody who is not complaining about the excessive amount of goals, never watched or played a single football match on his entire life

    i guess we're not talking too seriously about the amount of goals that this ME produces. It's completely unplayable this way

    Neither of the games you quoted change the stats that i brought there Besides, these matches you said and Palmeiras 5-0 Goiás was the only games i can remember this year with a very high amount of goals. In FM it seems to have at least one per fixture

    The match engine we're playing so far it's been one of the best of all times, if wasn't for this small problem, i would say that is perfect. Some people have been commenting about this on the discussion on the general Forum but i didn't see anybody post it on the bugs session Apparently the total amount of goals in this match engine is a bit high, here are a example (sorry for some portuguese prints). This is the best defenses on the Brazilian league so far (28 games played) Botafogo 17 goals in 28 matches = 0,60 average Atletico-MG 21 goals in 28 matches = 0,75 average Palmeiras 24 goals in 27matches = 0,88 average Cruzeiro 24 goals in 28 matches = 0,85 average Bragantino 24 goals in 27 matches = 0,88 average And this is the stats of my save: Flamengo 20 goals in 21 matches = 0,95 average Palmeiras 25 goals in 23 matches = 1,08 average Cuiabá 28 goals in 23 matches = 1,21 average Internacional 32 goals in 22 matches = 1,45 average Cruzeiro 33 goals in 22 matches = 1,5 average Top 5 average in real life: 0,79 Top 5 average in FM: 1,23 An increase of 36%, just on the top 5 of the league. I would appreciate if SI could look at that and rebalance the ME. Seems to me that the attacking way more intelligently than the defense

    Status of concedeed goals in my brazilian league beta save, the 3rd best defense has conceeded 1,27 per game If SI didn't low down the amount of goals, we're gonna have a really big problem this year.

    I really think that the major "issue" with the ME right now is the amount of goals compared to IRL. It's a little bit higher, not too much, if SI could balance that improving AI defense for the final release, we would have a near-perfect match engine.

    I agree with you, this is my first 4 games in Brazilian state championship. i think if SI lower a lit bit the amount of goals, it would be a perfect match engine
