4 "What we've got here is a failure to communicate"
  1. Basically, since budgets are decided BEFORE prize money is recieved, the bundesliga gets disproportionately screwed, especially for teams that are promoted and manage to stay up, since the game doesn't realize you have WAY more money than it thinks when it calculates the transfer budget.
  2. >Once the money is confirmed and received, it will positively impact the chance of initial budgets being bumped up. The problem is that Budgets are decided BEFORE prize money is taken into account (when you get into the champions league). Since the bundesliga prize money is the lions share of the bundesliga revenue (no TV rights money), it heavily affects them more than anything else. Are you understanding what i'm saying?
  3. See when I read that, it sounds more like "sending more players forward so I should get more attacking highlights at the cost of more defensive shakiness. Especially with the "throwing players forward" bit. Regardless of whether it works, i'd expect more highlights of either the opposing team taking advantage of my aggression and countering, or at least seeing my team being threatening in the opposing third. No highlights is the last thing I would expect after reading that.
  4. The breakdown is between the board and Suarez, not the manager. Who the manager is, is rather irrelevant in that scenario. The board is telling the manager not to select him.
  5. This has got to be the most hilariously awkward bug to bring up at the morning standup meeting
  6. See here, on the 20th of March, that projected turnover for the Year is 109 million. We just got into the RO8 of the Champions league. Here in the Income tab, you can see that the non-transfer revenue for the club amounts to 102 million this season. The prize money for last season is considered under the last season revenue. That means that the projection is completely ignoring the prize money, that is only awarded at the end of the season for the bundesliga, and therefore, for champions league clubs, happens after they secure their champions league spot, which is when the board sets budgets. This has been an issue since FM22. My team is currently safely second, so it's likely that the projection not taking into account prize money will affect me next season. Is this purely a graphical bug, or is this an issue stemming from most of the money from the bundesliga coming at the end of the season, unlike other leagues where most money is from TV rights throughout the season?
  7. Same for Me, Dynamo Dresden as well. I think it might just be a game rule for that specific club.
  8. Part of the issue is that you are calling it "very attacking" instead of "more direct and more risk taking". People read that and assume they are giving up defensive safety for a better chance to score. If you aren't doing that, then the name is misleading.
  9. My defenders are constantly just randomly kicking the ball to nearby opposing attackers while under no pressure. It's kind of ridiculous. Lets add on every single through ball where my 15 acc, 15 pace defenders, are moving slow as hell, having a light stroll.
  10. Same as last year, VAR awards every penalty. They didn't even bother coding in a case when VAR doesn't award it.
  11. Did you guys actually TEST your update? Newgens are developing even worse on average than before the patch. As shown by the analysis done by noobcake. If some guy on reddit can do this test in a day, would it not be fair to expect SI to perform similar tests before deploying the patch?
