Chinese 1st division, 3rd season. Cleared squad numbers to reallocate on the day I was asked to do it. Couldn't reallocate (no screenshot). Come to first league match of season, cannot progress as not enough spare squad numbers to give the team - SS below.

I am probably jinxing the promising start by posting this, but this is the start we have made in the league. Context - Chinese Jia League (second tier), Zibu Cuju FC. Club is in administration and has a transfer embargo. Predicted to finish 17th, only the semi-pro in the league predicted to finish lower. I've taken a training schedule and cranked up the set-piece practice each week - other than that, nothing other than using the home and away tactic, timewasting when appropriate. Love it.
