This has been updated to version 1.6 which includes some updates to the awards and the fixtures to ensure the midweek games are televised where appropriate. Lots of little improvements have been added as well. Available via the same link in the first post.

For the teams that exist in the SI DB yes, but that is probably only about 15 clubs or so

Sounds like you might have to create a nation completely but that might introduce some other issues….

I did also check my DB and the only time a player has Basque as first nationality is when they have declared but all regens were Spanish with Basque 2nd nationality.

I definitely have the files, let me just double check it was creating players with Basque as their first nationality and if it was I’ll post them. I’m thinking with the troubles you’ve had then maybe I just didn’t look hard enough as that wasn’t the main focus of my test. I was going to say Regions can be weird but saw you had tested without so it’s got to be hard coded. I did have a quick look and couldn’t see anything but it may be saved in my laptops browser history so will look at that shortly and let you know. Your structure sounds awesome, I was thinking about something far more simple 😀.

Just to say if you swap for another nation then the regen names will come from the name pool of the country you choose. Andorra for instance has that hard coded so when I tried to use it for my Cornwall DB it created Spanish names that just didn’t work and I had to restart. i was looking at building a Basque nation similar to yours and had run some very quick tests and don’t remember the regens not being Basque first nationality, though I could be wrong. I know I’ve read somewhere there is a way to change the regen’s nationality but cannot remember the detail, I’ll see if I can find it. Just out of interest how many clubs do you have in your setup?

Been working on this since the game was released. Linking to the article with all the details you should need to know. Also included a graphics pack to install which will add club logos and kits to make it look a little better (some aren't great but the database itself was the priority). It should be really fun to play. As the article says I've made a 5 league structure with all Cornish based clubs in. There is a fantasy team and a couple that are extinct have been revived. Lower league playoffs for promotion mimicking the English leagues, with League cup and St. Pirans (FA) cup. The Cornish National team is fully playable and generated players should mostly have names that might be found in Cornwall. A few historic names are included. So after some thought and after adding over 150 officials and it not working. I’m going to not add players to playable clubs on game startup and I’m going to create around 10,000 custom regens using the EDT files (I have an excel that creates them randomly based on my list of names). Then I will see if I can flood the teams with enough players to drown out the base list.

Awesome, thank you. Quickly added in 25 officials and players are being created with the names in with Andorran names. I wasn’t planning on creating squads with players in but might be the only way around it to reduce the names seen….I don’t really want to start again as I’ve already added pretty much everything but added detail for half the clubs. Even looked at the option of using an extinct nation but that causes issues with Nations League that I don’t want to unpick lol

Just went in and changed the nationality of 1500 English people to my nation but still creating clubs with the Andorran name pool.....i'll try adding some new Refs

I changed Andorra so it had no cities, regions or people. I’ve added my own cities and changed the language. Next step is to add a load of random people to the nation and see if the game uses those names instead
