I am ina long term save I won the premier league but this year I may not repeat but nevertheless my squad is good and we are playing good football
I used FMRTE to edit all Elite teams in the world to give them some elites players and 300 millions each cuz they were bankrupt so I need my best player to perform now since my opponents are really buffed
I am gegenpress tactic I have made it its4231 two wing backs support
Defensive MIdfielders both supportAML AND AMR Inside forward attack
My problem is my AMC I used him as Shadow striker now I am Attacking midfielder I am just not sure
His potential is probably above 190 and his ability is near it he is 21 but I struggle to make him score more goals
He has Curls the ball , comes deep to ge tthe ball play ones two , run with the ball often. NOw he is learning to place shots

My striker is advanced forward
What suggestions would you do? I just want him to win ballon dor he has been with me 4 seasons I am nurturing him . My problem is his stupid international team is ruining him since I watch his minutes but they play him 180 non stop always comes back tired

Biggest problem right now is not the ME
Its the long term saves- Big teams go bankrupt they dont have money to buy players
- They do not develope youngsers all teams basically use Salah etc untill they reach 40 . Liverpool Starting eleven is the same 6 years into the game even thou everybody is 34+
-New regens cant reach their potential since they develope too slow and no AI teams plays them
- national teams are full of 30 year old plus players
-There are like 3/4 star players below 25 right now .

I just spent 3 hours mass editing youngsters in all top clubs to give them a boost. Barcelona had not a single player above 160 potential below 26 years old. Their B and youth teams were absolute garbage . IN total below 22 yeras old there were just 3/4 players in the world above 150 ability .To make matters worst absolute all top teams are bankrupt the only team that has any money for transfers in Man City and nobody has any first teamers below 22 years old
Situation in Brazil under 20 and England/ Spain was abysmal. I mean France was full of players 115 ability 120 potential ..
With heavy editing the save will be fun since I put 1/2 super talents in each of the top clubs and gave each top team 250 millions extra balance
I suggest if you struggle with the same issues just edit urself. Go to all UNDER 20 teams every other team and make high ability youngsters otherwise the game wont be funLiverpool starting 11 in 2028 September is

For example
I started great season played 3 months in with great results my save game got corrupted had to start over so when I loaded back I had 2 fluke results that i previously won so I reloaded untill I get the same results back
but I admit I have restarted a cup final two seasons ago I was playing UEFA Cup Final against much inferior team. The game started 1:0 for me red card for my defender. Penalty for AI. Game finished 1:1 I was 20 shots against 2. Extra time I go up 2:1 have a goal disallowed then I miss 2 more sitters he scores 120. In the penalties my GK did not even move for 3 of them I just could not handle it :D. It was a minor trophy I would never paticipated again kinda wanted it in the honours for my virtual hall of fame

When I offer new contract always i put start date end of season. That way you can buy yourself another 6 months of peace before they start to cry about it. Then if you can ride it out to next seaon you renegotiate again end of season1 -
Hmm I think this thread can be used to gather evidence and we can move it to bug report since here its more popular people will be able to see the post and provide more info.
Not a single regen in any of ht enational teams. The young players in Belgium are 2021 and other one is 2020 one. Their squad looks the worst with average age well 30 + and tons of players above 30. I checked a lot of other nations same story

Quick observation I am almost 8 seasons in and there is a BIG problem
All AI controlled teams average age is 30 or 30+. From top 10 teams in the world the only one that has a REGEN in first squad is Juventus. I mean Liverpool attack is 39 Lewandowksi 35 Salah 29 Mbappe.
Real MAdrid average age is 31 their youngest first team player is Vinicious Junior. Chelsea youngest is Fofana 27. The only one using regens is my team

I am near 2028 in my save game the last 4 seasons played with the latest patch. I am noticing that computer teams cannot replace their starting players since young players still develop slowly and need a lot of game time

If I look at almost all top teams they all have first time players I mean nobody is using regens except very very few teams and me. I am wtih Derby and I still cant win the league waiting for my team to develop. My AMC the only one I know his potential so I check him with editor every year to see him developing
He is 21 at 177 CA 198 potential. To get him there he is first team player the last 4 seasons 50 games each year 10 rating in training. I constantly prase/critize him if he slacks in training
I had to sell a lot of very high potential players according to my squad cuz I bought them and could give them only 20 games per season ( cups etc) 5 star training and they barerely developed. I had a talanted AML 4 star scout rating sent him on loan each season 4 season in a row he played 120 games great stats but cant develop further then 3 stars0 -
OK this is a big issue
Crying for playing time still needs revamp my season is about to go kaput because of this scenarioAfter boxing day you know the schedule in England its brutal. Whole my starting squad is near jaded and I get a lucky break. I have 2 league cup semi final games and a home fa cup games. Perfect scenario to play my reserves for 2/3 games straight
so I can regain fitness. Problem is I played them against Aston Vila and if I play them again for the FA CUp game half my first team players are becoming unhappy (concerned playing time) if u I filed the reserves again for the third meaningless game I will kill the locker room.
Starting squad players should be ok missing early FA CUp rounds and secondary cups lHaving STAR players when you are fighting for 2 cups + is impossible . You have to play them jaded ( ineffectual ) and ruin them with injuries. Problem is once they want new contracts for playing good u need to use EDITOR to fix their roles or you cant sustain it

I am having serious issues with my save games
Twice when saving and then going to cloud my game crashes or i close the laptop after save when I comeback i cant load. I had to replay 1/3 of a season and now another 5 games0 -
After almost two seasons under the new patch . Major observation and things to work on
- Please fix VAR. Every second goal I have a Var review I cant celebrate goals anymore. I know its real life esque but its kinda annoying.
- Still a lot of crossing it needs slightly adjusting I think DL and DR defend too well the cut inside so looking at the game the right place is for my Inside forward to recycle the ball then risk cutting inside and losing it. I can see the logic in the movement there is very little space to cut inside and htere are tons left to go by the byline. The solution here will be hard
- Young players are developing nicely most of my squad is under 21 and I can see improvement in most of them. Its annoying that my coaches try to overule my individual training at every meeting. Obviously 11 passing for my AMC is not good enough
- Salah and Lewandowski are still going extremely strong . Lewa is 37 top scorer and Salah is 34 so that is very nice they

This is half the goals I concede especially against **** teams.. How do I adjust to do this its mighty annoying .

Almost another season finished playing whole day
I signed a new AML that needed time to get going ( I am Derby County) its almost end of season I am finishing probably 7th or 8th. My team is full with youngsters but the good thing
My best players have been my AML and AMR . Both are sittniga round 30 games 11 goals 10 assists. My striker is scoring from open play a lot . Crossing is still ab it much but I guess we gonna get used to it
I think we AML and AMR work fine now honestly we are used to Messi/CR7 and now Salah scoring 30 goals from that position. In past FM game sand in real world 15/20 games was as most as u can achieve
The Trademark cut inside shoot player Robben never managed more then 17 per season.
Still I like how my amr and aml plays maybe a little more trademark cutting will be fineP.S My team is leading the league with dribbles I have 16-17 per game so its up to your tactics
Honestly again I have been very vocal in my critique but I am having a blast now

Ok a smalll gaffle I guess
I signed Nusa for 23 million Dollars right now he is worth it 40 millions and wanted by Real Madrid . He finished 33 games 11 goals 10 assist as AMR and my board (end of season) are dissapointed I bought this player and gave him salary of 1.6 millions

I just played my 18 games of the remaining season
I must say great job with the patch.
I am playing Derby County and I have two good players Shoretire and Nusa that stand above. Before patch Shoretire was AMC and he was complete garbage and Nusa as AMR was never scoring (Inside forward)Last 15 games Nusa scored 8 goals . All from open play no cross . Cutting inside making great runs
Shoretire scored 6 goals and 6 assists in 14 games.
I saw very few cross for tap ins I have Winks as a striker and he is dreadful but before that he was scoring tap ins now I could see in ME that his ability is far beyond premiership he non stop botched good chances thanks to his awful attributes . My AML who can not compare to Nusa could not produce the same results as him.
Nusa good player is a bad luck thou since Real Madrid are interested in him now.Cant wait to play whole day tomorrow

I am still few matches in but I have seen some good things in the engine
Some neat passing and my AMC actually is playing good football. Some good through balls for my strikers. Still early but its a positive sign . T

Last year and the year before same thing happened. As loon as he has abillity around 80 and POTential aboev 115 u can easilly sell your youngsters for 2 millions plus if u are premier league team .
Honestly I could sell players for 3 millions in championship that had 120 potential and 90 ability as long as they play a few gamse0 -

Its better to have some issues fixed then wait 3 months. You know why because the fixes may not be actually fixes . Better to play with them and notice
FIFA Had game breaking GK . You could score from 35 years with finesse shot this year. Everybody cried about it they hot fixed it 1 weeks into game release and then released major update
You speak like a true fanboy. So lets not fix anything for 90 days untill all si fixed? But how wwould we know all is fixed when we have ZERO FEEDBACK and notes on the patch. A lot small players we can cross of things that need fixing and move on. Now we "hope" everythign is fixed and if its not lets wait 90 days .
Most of the BUG reports are "known issues". You know what they were known issues last year also

even now when we get patches from SI not everything is fixed so according to you that’s also “unfinished patching”

Spot on I mean look at Cybeypunk the game was a hot mess (still is to some point) but they scrambled and released patch after patch as soon as possible to fix whatever they can. Then they released couple of more patches and now are working on the big ones
GTA remastered patches are released as far as possibel .
Bannerlord 2 first month we received probably patch every other day untill it was playable
Sorry but 2 patches for 8 months is not good enough in MY book. Bassicaly we give feedback twice per year. Now when the patch hits next week we can report "bugs" and then whatever is fixed we see in MARCH . Whatever is not it will be left for the next game release...Every game developer atleast the good ones work hard. So stop this they are working hard they are multi million dollar company its their job to work hard and the harder they work the more money they make . We need more patches so we can see how they are played and fix the game .

Honestly Sigames should evolve. This is getting absurd
Game releases start of November - Unplayable then we have to wait 60 days for the FIRST PATCH ( i dont count the day 1 patch since most people do not play BETA)Then we have only one update March and thats it .. This was ok 20 years ago but not anymore. Companies are trying hard to keep their customers
I have a feeling nobody is listeing to our feedback and getting demotivated . Patches should come in two weeks cycle in beginning to fix all the issues and get a feedback.. When we get a patch this month we will have to wait another 90 for fixesLast year most things were left unfixed and we had to wait 7 months for new version of the game and now we are waiting again for more fixes . Its never ending cycle of frustration

I have been regular here since 1999 I Believe. Usually I was a reader mostly but we seriously need to break the pattern
The lack of competition is not a good thing for this game. My main gripe is that for the last 20 years the game releases in October/November then the first big patch is at launch day (not so big) then we have to wait untill end of December for the major fix to be released...
If not everything is fixed then last patch is released March and sayonara untill November when we repeat the same cycle. This is not good enough to be honest. Most developers are fighting hard to keep their customers even games like FIFA 22 when there are MAJOR complains they release patches. I am a big FIFA player and we already have 3 or 4 big patches since the game was released. Even EA that are slow company fixed major no loss glitches and etc in a matter of days.
Right now we have huge bugs. Corners IF/IW not working 4 subs instead of 5 crashes . Lack of pressure against weak teams many crosses etc
All is fixable but I dont have faith in this xmass patch especially knowing that if by any reason itdoes not fix all I have to wait 3 months for the next one ..
I was not happy with the state of the last GAME and when they announced no patches will be released after March I stopped playing.. Now I got the game (GAME PASS first FM i did not buy) and I played for 3 days and now I cant play untill December. For my in my OPINION both versions have been unplayable for almost 8 months4 -

We are all speaking the truth here apart from you. Sigames themselves have said it is a KNOWN ISSUE a lot of crossing and that AML and AMR do not play properly and do not cut inside no matter what u say to them..

Please check the # of crosses your team does? I agree Strikers are overpowered its because of two things number of crosses and accuracy. I had an absolute awful striker 32 at Derby County I mean he was probably 100 potential. He scored 30 goals in 30 games in Championship. I bought Winks for 1 million next season he scored 37 goals in 32 games . Most of them tap in crosses and headers. Problem is your AML and AMR attempt tons and tons of crosses when there are 40 per game and u watch only highlights it just seems they are very accurate but its just soo much crossing then it will create chances.
You can put any decent striker and with good AML and AMR to cross 50 times per game he will score goals. Winks is pathetic I am in premier league but he still has like 8 goals in 13 games and have missed soo many sitters from 2 meters out. IF AML and AMR cut inside and try to play simple passing game and score goals your striker will score much less he will actually have to make the goals
The crossing problem is also why AMC is useless position now and can barerely assist or score in most formations. Since AMl and AMR cross all the time he is isolated from the game and can score the occasional banger or tap in from cross

I cant enjoy the game right now Its again unplayable for me
My favorite positions have always been AML and AMR in Football Manager. We are talking the Eras even before Messi and Ronaldo. I remember Possanzini in 2001/2002 he was a great AML for my Real Madrid squad. Even Nani was great for me in my united save getting him to score 20 goals was amazing watching him cut inside etcRight now the only goals my AML and AMR scores are from crosses from otherside if they are in position for tap in :). I cant get them to cut inside and they play like idiots. Its improvement cuz they actually pass it across the goal which they refused in last year version
Crossig is just annoying even my central midfielders tend to drift wide to cross . The more annoying part is you need AMR with right foot so he can cross better but the best AML/AMR are opposite footed players. Watching Salah attempting 30 crosses per game is ridicilous . Mbappe is deploed mainly as AMR in my game and he cant score more then 10/15 goals per season
Player rating still is a bit too low if you dont assist or score you are well below 7... The good thing is my work rates and determinations stats have gone up like crazy because even when I am winning I can usually warn 3-4 players for bad performance. If we lose a close game 1-2 or 0:2 usually I can warn half my team.
Also I find it hard to improve my young players maybe its my fault but I have 3 great prospects who train with main team I have 5 star coaching play games and getting subbed in and they barerly improve .One even regressed

How do you guys do it? Whatever I do my players are litteraly dead by the time I reach 1/4 finals or 1/2 finals. I rotate put low intensity tactics and still if I use players two games in a row they are yellow
I just lost to England in 1/4 finals and the only reason is their whole squad was fully green or green while most of my were 2/3 yellow etc . Two years later I am in group stage just won my first game and now for the second half my team is below green not full heart and Uruguay is fully fit and green
Is this a big or ? I dont want to use in game editor to heal my players since half the national team is my club team and will ruin my season but this is beyond stupid
