@majesticeternity Do you know if youth tournaments interact in a special way with the "Jaded" mechanic for youth development. I know that in vanilla FM the one reason you do not want to play the wonderkid at 16 is they could get Jaded and hamper their development.
I know like in the premier league they have a youth league in vanilla but I have been wondering about this recently as this might overload the youngsters and hamper development.
Also thanks again for my favorite mod in FM.

As I tried to start a new save I can tell you the youth tournaments need to be updated.

Most of the players I sign I put on to the wage budget so they do not eat into the overall balance, so part-time contracts.

Maybe this is too broad but in my lower league save how do I make every signing meaningful? When I sign while playing my semi-pro side they just kind of all feel like they are just filling numbers in the squad. Even though I know they ultimately probably won't stay. I would like feel like I cared about these players somewhat. Does anyone know what I mean?

How is his acceleration and pace in comparison to others in the same area, maybe that makes the difference. All that said I always feel like it is hard to quantify how good some players are by looking at their stats.

If do not mind not having the colors you can do that without the skin. In the preferences> skin color> advanced>the last column types 1 for everything in that column.

Like I said, I'm still working on this skin and trying to improve its presentation, but since I'm not an advanced editor, this takes some time. So for now, you'll have to use it the way it is, or you'll have to try yourself.

I see what you mean... however I pull the data from the FM views, not from the after game match analysis. In fact I am 99% sure you can't pull data from it. Unfortunately I can't extract data relative to where in the pitch it has been recorded.
For the defensive actions, best I have in mind would be tackles attempted (not necessarily won) and interceptions. Fouls are likely to come from tackles so we'd count the same action twice... then again I don't know how SI records the match stats
Ok, if that is all you can do. That is all you can do. It will still be useful. It just should be used sparingly.

The definition of PPDA I could find states, "PPDA = Number of Passes made by Attacking Team (opponent) / Number of Defensive Actions , in the opponent's 60% of the pitch".
The last requirement may be the most difficult to get, but I have suggestion for that.
1. Number of passes made by attacking team. Which means to me number of passes completed not necessarily attempted.
2. Number of defensive actions include Possession-winning duels, Tackles, Interceptions, Fouls. I am not sure how possession winning duels is measured so I would ignore it, but tackles should include successful and failed tackles. Interceptions and fouls made by defensive team are pretty straight forward.
3. In the opponent's 60% of the pitch is very important and potentially difficult to measure.
3a. If you only measure all passes across the whole pitch it can make low block teams against possession based teams look much more effective at pressing then they actually are so it is critical this part can be measured.
3b. A potential solution to this is in the match analysis screen after a match is complete it has a section listed for the defensive half of the pitch and so it will only generate stats for that area of the pitch. I will share screenshots after to show what I mean.
3c. I do not know if it is easy to pull that data from football manager, but I do know it is generated I hope that helps.

When I started to create this skin I tried to solely focus on replacing all the numeric attribute values first as well as restructuring the comparison panels to be able to present a playable result as soon as possible. Of course, there is still some room for improvements in the default skins presentation, but I didn't want to overextend myself on working on to many topics at the same time. For now, I assume that there aren't any numeric attribute values left, so the next step would be to work on some small adjustments in the defaults skin layout. One step was to replace the "preferred foot" by the "left and right foot-ability" in the player profile. Since I'm not an advanced skin-editor it takes some time to make progress on new topics, but I'm still trying to improve. In Addition I would love to show the small icons from the pros and cons of the Coach summary on the player overview as well, but at the moment I still have to figure out und understand how to do it.
I guess to replace the attribute stars in other skins you may have to transfer the files I edited, but I don't have any experience in mixing up two different skins so I am not able to recommend this to you at the moment.

@gam945 So I have been thinking more about this tool as I am going to start an attribute masked masked run and will just rely on stats for most of my decisions. I do not know if you have it but a selection for Passes Per Defensive Action(PPDA) would be amazing. This would allow anyone to measure how effectively a player presses some players in a given game. Would be a wonderful scouting tool. Just a thought!

I do not know if this has been discussed yet as far as rules.
I always sim one year first before playing because the free agents available at the start of the database are a little too good.

I clicked that it did not work. The only thing that seems to work is firing the U18/ U23 head coach. I am not sure if that is intentional but that is the only way it would work for me.

This is legendary! The problem I have is I really need the other skin I currently use because it has the icons for the coach summary, and XG on the same view as the attributes. If this could include this I would argue it is a necessity for a realism save.

I have had similar experiences with them being inconsistent. I wonder if SI made it that way so you have a reason to hire them. Otherwise i would only ever try sogning by myself.
