Day one - Squad, Tactics, Mentoring, and Staff This is going to be a long one, so bear with me. Part one: Squad Review Goalkeeper: Jessy Moulin He's a solid, if unspectacular goalkeeper. Shame he's 35 as our backup is not up to par. Right-back: Oualid El Hajjam He's brilliant, in my opinion. Again, shame he's on the wrong side of 30. Right Center Back: Yoann Salmier The Guianese international is a very limited, slow, and really can't be relied on to do much other than win headers and mark. Left Center Back: Erik Palmer-Brown The American international, one of my former favorite American prospects in real life, is a solid option, but his mentals leave a lot to be desired. This makes center back #1 & #2 a big priority. Left-Back: Abdu Conte This guy has our LB spot sorted for a couple years, at least. Defensive Midfield: Florian Tardieu The hard working DM will most likely be a half back in our tactic, transitioning defense to attack. Central Midfield: Xavier Chavalerin & Tristan Dingome He'll be our box to box this season, until he loses his legs. He has AP(A) written all over him. Attacking Midfield: Luka Ilic I'm not sure what role to play him in, but I'm less than pleased with our winger options, so we'll have to play narrow. Striker: Renaud Ripart & Suk Hyun-Jun The perfect pressing forward. He'll be our target man, linking up play for the AM and PF. Part Two: Tactics The main tactic for this first season. The ideal next tactic for us, if everything goes to plan in the transfer window. Backup Backup plan. Part Three: Mentoring & Youngsters A full back group, center back group, and attacking group. The top 3 youngsters out of these 5 are All around Anas Namri. Limited CB Tanguy Zoukrou And attacking option Brandon Domingues. And finally, Part Four: Staff We do have 2 assmen which I've never seen before. Double the useless advice. We have 3 open scout spots. And no sports science room.

I think everybody has tried a Sir Alex Ferguson Challenge in their many years of playing FM, taking over the second bottom team in the Premier League on November 6th. However, I have struggled with Brexit work permit rules, and it was ultimately what led to the end of my previous exploits with Rochdale. However, in this save, I'm going to be taking the second bottom team in Ligue 1, and rebuilding them to the dizzy heights of 13 Ligue 1's, 5 French Cups, 2 Champions Leagues, and 10 Trophy Des Champions. While doing this, we will be focusing on building up a brilliant youth academy, bringing through important players right from our youth intakes. With all that being said, let's meet the manager, and the club. Here's Monsieur Alex Ferguson, a 44 year old Scottish Manager, with international experience as a player. Now onto the club we will be bringing to glory. Troyes! A yoyo club in real life, now it's time to restore some balance to them.

July-August 2024 Results: A very poor start. League Table: I'm now using the Tato skin, and I'm downloading logo packs right now.

Offseason 2024 We desperately needed a new RB and this guy was the best Slovak available. He's quality depth. A very tricky winger. Backup striker. Another CB option. Only 50-1? I'd put 5 on us to win the league.

April-May 2024 Results: I hate Slovan Bratislava. League Table: Good to see Douglas up there.

Youth Intake: From now on I'm only signing the best of the best. So, in this case, only the top 3. Milota not too good, but the other two I like.

January was our winter break. February-March 2024 Results: Through in the Cup, Out in Europe, and no chance of the League League Table: I'll be happy if we finish in the top 3.

November-December 2023 Results: Dominant in the league. League Table: I'll take top 3. We made it through!

September-October 2023 Results: Faltered in the league, while we're doing good in the cups and in Europe. Tables:

July-August 2023 Results: We really tried to throw it away against Yeni. Also see a 16-15 penalty shootout win against Red Star. League Table: Dun. Streda's players are like 10x my players.

Offseason 2023 Our new starting LB. He looks great. Depth on the wings. Hinds' backup. Up to 8th now.

April-May 2023 Results: An incredible last two months gets us into Europe!!! League Table: Hinds leads us to glory!!

Youth Intake #2 Everyone from Hodal down and Csolle leaves. That leaves the intake page looking like this. Belan is very good. But, we also have Griger. Fila would be a great player if his ambition and determination weren't so low. 19 Bravery! 15 workrate! oh boy, those technicals. Quality GK.

February-March 2023 Results: Decent. League Table: We're not too bad. 4th should be enough for the European Playoff.

December-January November-30th of December was our midseason break Results: We've done really well. League Table: I don't know how we're not higher tbf.

September-October Signed on a free, he's our new striker. Results: We've won every game on XG bar Ruzomberok. Dominant. League Table: Hinds up there already.

July-August 2022 We had the higher XG in all of the first four games. We should be top half right now.

Offseason 2022 We lose our best player. And our second best player. And our third best player. We're in for a challenge. Ferenc is our new starting LB. Yao is Polievka's replacement. Cruz is another CB for depth. Mr. all rounder comes in for a free. He's our new roaming playmaker. I went scouting in England for players, he's one of many. Probably a mezzala. A new, very limited RW. Our new striker. 250-1 time to surprise some people.
