We've chatted about this with our internal QA team and first and foremost, the issue mentioned is in a much better state than it was in previous editions.

That's not to say it's perfect, but unfortunately it's a limitation of the current system. The attributes mentioned are heavily weighted on the overall CA, so to have them boosted would have a very detrimental effect on the overall ability of full backs game wide - making them extremely unbalanced.

We did make more positive strides within the progression coding however, and you'll notice that as the players get older the attributes will appear more realistic and at a satisfactory level.

I'm afraid there's just little more that we can do at this stage, but it's one we have our eye on and want to improve on for future editions of FM.

Each year it's always the same pr answer "we'll fix it next game". And it never happens. I bet my house it will be still not fixed in the next game with the new engine, we'll just hear a different excuse

lack of injury problems was a reason for poor rotation in previous editions which was part of the reason young players did not develop as much as they should do as they never played

Or the AI failed to properly implement turn over, for years now. It's the AI that have to adapt to the needs of the human players, not the other way round

Not really it was more buggy in previous editions that injures was too low

It wasn't buggy it was on purpose. Last year the injury rate was tweaked down in one of the patches because most players complained about injury ratio. Actually there has been injury issues in most FM and devs always fixed it by decreasing it. I'm 100% this time will be no different.

Again if you want that to change, then they need to be upfront about it because a lot of people will not play the game with an increased amount of injuries.

Then use the in-game editor to heal your squad. This is supposed to be a simulator. Injuries are already too few compared to real-life.

As i said i don't have a problem with it, i just want that if they decide for that they state it out loud beforehand so that i can avoid wasting 60€. Not sure why you are so triggered.

  5. Maybe i got the issue triggering the bug. I'm working on an european super league database and it kept happening.

Then i started testing after checking each team (which is long and boring, but what can you do...) and i've noticed that certain reserve teams are the issue. In particular editing anything related to the 2nd teams of french teams like psg, marseille and basically every other french team WILL trigger the rule group bug. Same issue with austrian and greek teams. Not tested every nation since it's extremely slow having to test basically every time i edit a team but there are probably other nations affected as well. Same for reserve teams in general, even if unused.

England, Spain, Germany among other nations can be edited freely and won't trigger the bug from my experience.

    Hi everyone,

We're still looking into this issue, could we please get some additional editor files to look at, to help us with the investigation, thank you.

I can't provide a file as usual due to the cloud bug i'm suffering but it's pretty easy to replicate. Try starting building a new database and edit in any way a reserve team (and for some reasons also a few second teams like psg second team) and you will get the error 100% without fail.

Tell me you don't understand AAA game development without telling me you don't understand AAA game development. The difference between results in release and the winter update are absolutely incredible (how much comes down to RNG is debateable of course) and the engs have done an incredible job in just a short couple of months, as they do every bloody year.

"Completely broken" is useless feedback, all that you list works perfectly fine for me.

How long do you think the average save lasts? I doubt it's anywhere near 10 years.

Are you seriously defending features that has been broken for literal YEARS? The issue improved through the patches? Sure, but it's still not working since past 2030 there are barely any young players playing for top clubs and national teams. It's still not enough.

And the last sentence simply confirm what i just said. Not many play 10+ years save like me so they literally don't care, like for international management and other stuff they left broken for years.

It's so disappointing to see that long-term saves are still being ruined by poor AI squad management and reputation issues, and it's something that really should be properly addressed for FM24.

Great work bro, i also have similar numbers when going 2030 and higher. Btw the part i've quoted we all know it won't happen. It was broken in 22, it's broken in 23 and will be broken in 24 because devs clearly don't care about it. Just like international management, transfer system being completly broken, broken set pieces and all the stuff that should have been revamped at least 5 years ago and are still ignored.

  9. It's still bugged. Less than 20 out of 300 brazilians 16 years old are interested in joining Real Madrid, the club with the most reputation ingame (and irl as well).

Honestly thank god i have the ig editor otherwise i would've refunded by now to go back to 21 when this nonsense wasn't happening.

Oh and by the way Endrick, you know the non-EU 16 years old brazilian that IRL got a deal with Real, is set with a future transfer move in the new database. How ironic isn't it?

Could you please send us your save file where this is happening, thank you.

Only now i've seen this request. For some reason the forum's UI doesn't warn me when someone reply in a post i've made (go figure...).

Anyway you don't need any save to replicate, it literally happened in every single save i've made. All you need to do to reproduce it is to enable the ingame editor, find a player that is unhappy with training (usually because they think the individual training doesn't work for them) and try to click on remove unhappiness... which is not possible since it's grayed out. Even if you go into the squad screen and click on "remove all unhappiness" from there the player will still be unhappy so i have to go into his training, remove the individual training assigned and re-assign him to it.

Obviously it's still very present after latest patch

Thank you for the save, are you still having trouble with injuries then?

This is how bad it still is. Is it actually being worked on? Because if the injuries stays like this i will simply start to remove them (at least the major ones) using the editor, because it's really becoming unfun. I'm currently forced to field a 16 years old kid upfront because all my strikers are injured.
