Having tried 3-4-2-1 quite a bit in FM23 and really struggled to get defensive solidity, this one really does the business. It did take about 3-4 months to properly click, but the quality of football at both ends of the pitch is excellent. Followed your advice on the height needed at CF, so Evan Ferguson and Youssef Chermiti have both done very well there and score a wide variety of goals. Defensively the opposition has to work a lot harder to break through and when we do concede it's normally from individual mistakes rather than something systemic. Tactics like these are the most enjoyable every year, good work.
