  1. sorry yes. brandon bryan-waugh is the player I offered out for transfer via intermediary and negotiated to 200k. Junior Morais was the player loaned out but I cancelled and offered out again with non negitable 100%
  2. I uploaded to sigames cloud. https://oc.sigames.com/owncloud/index.php/s/Kzvhd0MdU3v4Nv4 I just had a transfer where I had a bid for 160k. Negotiated to 220k + 25% profit. After accepting. It is now completely different. 55k initial 105k over 2 year installments 6k per appearance x10 30% profit fns arrange friendly again via an intermediary
  3. As title suggests. It has been an issue for many fms but never gets fixed, thought i would put it up for the sake of putting it up
  4. Hey, I was confused when a loan (player being loaned out) deal was getting finalised as it stated 60% wages even though I was sure that I negotiated up to 100%. So I cancelled it and offered him out again. A new bid came in that I negotiated from 80% to 100% and added an option to buy. Accepted the offer of 100%+ option. I left the loan page and went to my transfers and Its reset it to 80% but kept an option to buy. The offer is via an intermediary if that makes a difference.
  5. Hi there, I am playing as coventry and just got into the premiership I am looking to get a foreign affiliate, which is officially for commercial benefits, but the main point is to then negotiate to include in youth recruitment. I have been given options of japan, china, aus and USA. (I didnt have an option to get a feeder for foreign youth) The best team by rating is Kyoto in Japan. They have maxxed out youth recruitment and great facilities. Although, I also have a USA option of "IMG Soccer Academy" - an u18 team based in florida, they have great facilities but poor youth recruitment. Might even be one of those clubs that never generate a player (they have no players currently) So my questions are: Does youth recruitment stats matter on the feeder club? Does the facilities matter also? Is it better to actually have a foreign club with poor recruitment so you recruit their players easier? Or, would the feeder club having high rating impact on the quality of the player that comes through your recruitments, so higher the better? I like the idea of having an "acadamy" as a feeder club, so thats my first choice. Although if the poorer youth recruitment will impact on the youth coming through, then the Japanese side is the obvious choice. If the academy in the US are a club that never generates a player, does that impact on your intake? I have a Japanese player in Sakamoto and an american striker in Haji Wright, although both will get sold soon as they are part of my starting championship side and not of the required standard as I progress. So the country doesn;t bother me! The financial benefits, unless they are greatly different, doesn't bother me either.
  6. Hi, last week, I published a database that works perfectly for me (comes up with the discipline rules error but thats it, the game seems fine). I have had a couple of messages with people stating it is "not working". Nothing else, no other clues, waiting for a reply but I doubt I will get one, I expect theyve moved on to something else. Any ideas why it works for me and not others?. I have downloaded it myself and it worked, I made a fair amount of database changes, so do they need more than just the uploaded workshop saved editor data?
  7. yes and no. Having teams available to multiple leagues helps (i.e. teams that are on the boarder of both regions) What I am hoping helps, (which I am running tests with now). Having the bottom league relegate more than it promotes, should counteract any swing from the teams getting relegated. I.e. if you have the league above relegating 4 teams, have the regional leagues relegating 4 teams each, then even if all 4 that get relegated go into one league, the inactive league only needs to add 2 into that and then pomote 6 into the league thats not had any relegated into. This is my theory. (I have made all teams the same rep that is in the inactive league so the game doesn't auto add the highest rep, thus causing another swing). It is difficult for me as above my regional league, I have an 8 group league. Theoretically, I could get 8 teams all from the same region getting relegated, so to test my theory out properly, I need to set 8 teams to get relegated! So I am doing another database to do it
  8. Well I have had the issue with the error warning but the save seems fine. (holidayed 2 years without issue). Came here to see if there was a fix but obviously not
  9. Thanks for getting back to me. Would that be the same for other nations with 1 for rep. i.e. extinct nations. Purpose for choosing them was so i didnt have loads of crimeans enter youth intakes and to stay out of the champions league and out of internationals etc. If I used a nation that is in built as the main nation (gibraltar is most likely), would intakes work? and if so, would teams end up with loads of gibraltans? (whilst keeping teams based in their original nations)
  10. try saving as another file, then before creating a new game, make sure you're loading the right save
  11. Hi, I have set up a database, adding rules and editing Crimea, everything seems to be working fine apart from one thing. There are no youth intakes for any clubs that get added to that nation. The clubs are still "based" in their original nation for the purpose of getting players generated that are from their original nation. I have the edited nation currently set to 0 reputation. Could that be the reason? (although I dont want players with the nationality of the edited nation) How do I get the youth intake to work. For clarity, I have created a world super league. I am considering deleting all teams and comps that are not involved in the new nation, then maybe the game is forced to generate the players into that nation
  12. ok I guess I will just have to try it and find out!
  13. Hi. If you have a league with lets say 24 teams in and you want to create a cup for 4 teams (not the same teams each season) How would the editor choose which teams from the 24 to play in that cup? Would it be randomized, go by reputation or done by the finishing position from last year. Bare in mind, in the basic that i am using, you're only setting the league to take teams from and the number of teams. Just thought it would be unique to have a randomised bonanza cup for a random 4 sides, so 4 sides get a big cash injection
  14. aahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Knew I was missing something simple!! Thank you!
  15. Hey, I know theres probably multiple threads along these lines but can't find specifics. I am trying to make regional leagues and cups. I plan to make the number of teams in each league variable so it doesn't throw a team into a random region (even if the league has to drop down to 12 teams). Including an inactive division. I will be considering a variable relegation/promotion set up that I have read but I want to see how bad it is by keeping it simple first. I have read the way to make a regional cup is by making a "secondary competition" thats inactive, add the teams you want into that secondary league and then take the teams from that division to play in your cup. Problem I am having is setting "secondary divisions" to teams that don't already have secondary divisions. (I.e, I can edit brazilian teams secondary division because they play in the state championships), but I can not add a secondary competition to italian teams. This is the same with Regional Leagues, If they have a regional league set, I can edit that (i.e. I can edit man citys regional league to be conf s instead of north), but i can't create new if they don't already have one set (i.e. Juventus have no regional league set so I can not add one. Am I missing something as this seems weird to me? I haven't used an editor for a long time so I am rusty! I am using basic rules, but these 2 things are database edits and not rules anyway, so am I right in thinking that the rules don't make a difference to be able to add secondary divisions to teams anyway.
  16. Hey, I don't know if it's been brought up, but as the delivery type/style has been added. Shouldn't short corners be classed as a delivery type rather than an "aim". Also, last night, every short corner has been passed to the guy coming short, who then preceded to cross the ball instantly (never once took a touch before crossing) into the closing presser/first man. Only once did he pass to anyone else - which resulted in a tackle and a counter. Not once did I get a cross go further than the first man I've read there was an issue with offside when passing back to the corner taker. Have they now gone the opposite way?
  17. Trent Alexander Arnold "feels that he has a positive partnership playing with trent alexander arnold". I'm sure he does !!!
  18. Also, Kasey Palmer was for some reason transfer listed at the start of the game. There is no reason for this, although Simon Moore, who is available for sale IRL, isnt on the game
  19. Hey, started a game as Coventry. Just a few things about favourite personnel etc. James Maddison is stated as being an icon and being a manager. Obviously he was never a manager. Also, an Icon is a push, at cov, he was just a top prospect. that moved to Norwich for a decent fee for a young lad. The fact hes gone to play for England doesn't mean hes an icon. same could be said for Callum Wilson. Hamer should be knocked down too. Dublin has no place being on the page and his inclusion must be a wind up! Pretty much known as being the pantomime villain in cov. Robins should be an icon, certainly higher up in the pecking order than anyone thats been included as an icon! a low level historical rivalry with Sunderland might worth adding too. Jamie Allen is more of an hard working AMC than a dmc too.
  20. I signed a fitness coach as a test. He has 3 for WWY. his first team coaching ratings are identical to when hes "working with youngsters" in the u18s. The coach that has WWY at 4 has no issues developing relationships with youth, he's featured in many newgen youth players favored personnel
  21. One final point too. "Working with youngsters". I have a first team coach that has 4 for WWY yet his coaching rating is no different when looking at his u21 youth team responsibilities (hes a standard coach so he can't do youth responsibilities like the fitness and gk coaches can) Which kinda answers my question above but also poses more questions I also have a fitness coach with WWY at 12 and theres no difference in rating within the u18 youth team. Does "Working with Youth" actually have any effect in game ?
  22. The way the training is set up, kinda makes having youth coaches pretty pointless on a training basis, as generally, first team coaches are better than youth coaches. So if you can use first team coaches with no adverse effects on their first team coaching ratings, whats the point in youth coaches apart from extra numbers.
  23. Hey. I noticed something that seems to be overlooked. When setting training responsibilities, the ratings fall the more responsibilities you ask a coach to do, which is great. What i think has been overlooked is the fact that first team coaches can take youth coaching responsibilities and receive no adverse effects (i.e. the first team responsibilities remain the same rating whether they have duties in the youth team or not) . Also, just a query as there must be a reason for it as it has been the same for some time. But how come u21 coaches can take first team training responsibilities.
  24. I may be wrong but I have never seen a club get deducted points (barring preset at the start). Even when a team goes into administration. I have also never seen a team liquidated, although we all know this is very rare IRL anyway. I know fm have made it much harder to exceed your limits in recent fms but a realism approach to the financial aspect of the game would be great. Otherwise finances will continue to get pushed to the brink without worry because they'll be taken over to clear debts at some point. I would love to see (in game) a team like Millwall get liquidated and the game recreates a team called Millwall AFC (players on rolling contracts) and puts them in below the conference (set to be promoted to the conf south in 3 years or something). I am presuming this would not be easy to implement and be some amazing spreadsheet "if" statements needed. Just a thought
