  1. Gonna implement these now, I'll see if they work after a season simulated
  2. I don't understand what the stage index means, it says the value must be between 0-30 TV money would ideally be paid out at the start of the league, that's what it says anyway I don't care when it gets paid out tbh I just want each team in the league to get that figure every year. In fact this is far more important than the £2m per match money as it would have the biggest impact. I have also tried participation money, which worked in the first season but didn't give out funds after that. If I could get that working it would be a suitable alternative.
  3. Hi there, I have tried to give every team in the Turkish Super League £100m every year in TV money, and also £2m per televised match. There are three Super Leagues in the editor and I have applied the changes on each one of them like so: However, in-game the financial projections for a club in the division are as if nothing has changed: What am I doing wrong here?
  4. Hi, I've created a 40-team Premier League, however, each side still plays each other twice. I want them just to play each other once. How do I achieve this on the Fm23 editor?
  5. So normally I'm bewildered as to why my tactics don't work. However, after being sacked mid-season by Blackburn (unfairly might I add), I joined FC Halifax in the National League. They were 13th. I then proceeded to go unbeaten with a record of 21 games played, 16 wins, 5 draws and 0 losses. We finished in 3rd and beat Notts County in the playoffs to get promoted. 6 games into League 2 we're 2nd with an xPTS position of 1st, with the media predicting we'd finish 22nd. I'm still unbeaten in the league after 27 games played! Clearly, my tactic is working. But I don't know why... No player instructions, we're good at set pieces too so we get a couple of goals from corners but ultimately the tactic is the bread and butter. Opposition instructions are as follows: So can anyone explain to me why this tactic is so successful? Am I unknowingly a genius or have I accidentally exploited the match engine?
  6. I understand what you mean. What I'd say is to ignore any ruleset regarding tactics but understand this; the fundamentals can only be ignored if you've got a good reason to do so. For example if you can make 5 attacking duties work then go ahead. However, it'll be difficult right? You're committing so many men to attacks you have to respect the consequences of it going against you. A lot of tactics comes down to risk, so in certain games 5 attacking duties my provide the risk you need, in other you may get torn to shreds. But don't feel like you're cornered into playing by someone's 'rules', be as wacky or boring as you'd like.
  7. 92nd minute away to America in the Mexican League. I've changed to my Very Defensive 4-4-2 DM tactic with a Low Block, Lower Defensive Line and Drop Off More. I concede after their midfielder plays a long ball over my defence. My question is, with the instructions I have set, why in God's name is my defence this high?? This it not the first time this has happened. Here is the tactic in question, designed to shut out games late on. No Player Instructions. Opposition Insturctions is to press everyone bar defenders and defensive midfielders, tackle central midfielders harder and funnel wing backs into the middle and wingers out wide. Here are the attributes of my two centre backs: They're not that ill-equipped to deal with through balls as is, but I cannot for the life of me understand why they're not dropping deeper considering my instructions, what am I doing wrong?
