I really think the extinct club issues is just for some countries. As I posted above, I can play them. My whole league database is based on extinct clubs.

Really odd. What league are you working on? I've attached a few pictures. The extinct teams I've reactivated are Chinezul and Venus. Both were extinct before WW2. Here are them in the league, but mostly in the created League Cup and edited Romanian Cup. As I mentioned above, It randomly started working. What I did was create a new club called Chinezul and then everything started to work. Just one club. Then I swapped the new club with the old one and it still worked. Started to work on Wednesday after the update.

What I did was create a new team, added it in the league I want (swapped with one extinct team) and when I tried to add the league to the cup format, I saw I had 20 teams from that league. It ment that the other 3 that I added, who were extinct, became available. Then swapped again the new team with the extinct one and it worked. Tested the rules, all valid, tested the database in the game, and it workes. So I reckon they updated the editor and fixed it? It just randomly started to work for me. Cheers.

For me it was solved. Randomly. @Zachary Whyte can you confirm SI fixed the issue? I did not do anything, so 100% it was SI. Right?

Can confirm also with the Romanian Teams. The extinct ones do not work in the cups. They work in the league without any issue, but not in the National Cup and League Cup.

LE: Tried it in Spain also: Added Extremadura and Compostella, teams that are extinct. They appear in the league, but not the cups.

I've been working on this for two days now. Tried different scenarios or started over. When I add teams that were extinct, even if I make the available again, they don't show in Cup Competition. Both with new and existing nation rules. Thank you!

Tried setting the league set to flexible mode - not fixed. Tried removing the required teams section - not fixed. I am baffled.

Hi, So I am trying to change the format of the romanian league system and cups. Reactivated some extinct teams, however, when I try to insert them in Cup, they are not recognized, as you can see in the pictures attached. Both Cup and League Cup There are 26 teams there Only 4 are recognised. It happens the same with every other division I made. The All the extinct teams had the "extinct" box removed, had reputation modifications, added staff and for some, a few players. Can someone help me with this? A short update: managed to make it work, verified it, save it, then loaded the game and I get the same error. First time I see this while loading a game. Anyone? I can provide the editor file.

Just to mention that I tried this classic method: The folder refuses to change.
