Does anyone know/have a file to keep the Club World Cup as it is now in real life (with 7 teams held in December) from 2024 onwards? I would love that

I use a lot of editor data in my saves but there's one download that I would like that I can't find anywhere on the internet sadly. I don't like the Club World Cup format from 2024 onwards and want to keep it the same as it always has been with 7 teams held in December. Or I'd even rather there would be no CWC at all than have it the new way. I have never used the editor though, I'm playing around a little right now, I've watched some videos on Youtube but I don't understand how I can change the rules and implement it in my new save. Can anyone tell me how to do it, or if that's too complicated, just tell me if it's easy or not or even how I can remove the CWC from the game?

I was planning on skipping FM24 because FM25 will be the start of a 'new era' but after reading some positive reviews I couldn't help myself anymore and bought the game. Now I wish I had stuck to my plan on skipping this one. There's a lot of bugs like every year, but what is game-breaking for me is the amount of players whining about nothing. I've been a couple of seasons in, with different teams, multiple times already, but after a while it just gets too annoying for me.
Maybe good to mention the first one I've played was FM2005 and I've bought every version (and played it hundreds of hours) since 2010. I'll add some context about my current save. I'm managing De Graafschap, a mid-table team in the second tier of Dutch football. As you'll probably understand, we don't have an awful lot of money. My highest earner is on 120K a year, there's two other players on 100K+ but they're by far my best players so the general wage is between 50 and 70K a year. There's a young centre back who signed a new contract at the end of last season, it lasts three more years and since he's good and very promising, I decided on making him one of my 100K+ earners. In fact, he's on exactly 100K a week. I labelled him an 'important player'. Three or four months later, he comes in my office asking me for a new contract since he's got better in the time between signing his last contract and now.
First of all, very bold to ask for a new contract just months after signing one. So I tell him, sorry but your contract runs for three more years so I'm not going to give you a new one already. Ofcourse he doesn't agree and his morale drops from 'very good' to 'very bad'. So I decide to take no chances (because I've already experienced how whiney players are in FM24) and I offer him a new contract anyway. He asks for 450K (!) a year. Like, you're good mate but have some shame. We could't afford to go higher than 180K I think, so that's my only option to offer him (wage budget is already maxed out, I couldn't move the dot any more to the wage side) and he declines and walks away immediately.
Ofcourse, after these shenanigans, the entire squad gets on my back. They (ELEVEN players) demand to have a meeting where they tell me they're unhappy with the way I handled the situation. I tell them it wouldn't be fair to give him a new contract because then they all had to get one. I would love to tell them his demand were way too high and even if I wanted to, we couldn't afford it, but ofcourse that is not an option (thanks SI). Eleven players who were in very good form and 3rd in the league (expectations: mid table) all leave the room and are now very unhappy with me. I quit the game immediately and don't think I will load it up again, ******* nonsense.
Look, I could understand if the player in question's best friend would tell me he thinks he deserves a new contract, but eleven players? What the hell. It feels like you have to do everything the players want you to do every single time without exception, because if you don't the entire squad will be unhappy. I would understand the player himself being a lil bit unhappy (even though that's also idiotic because I simply couldn't afford it) and maybe one or two of his best friends in the squad, but it is absolutely unmanageable like this. You're just the players' b*tch, they're extremely unreasonable and it ruined the game for me. Mind you, it was always annoying when players would whine in other versions but I understand it's part of the game and it would never be too over the top. But in this year's version, it is. SI have ruined my hype for the game after only a month of playing again. It has happened an awful lot of times since 2019 I think. You don't have to count on me playing this game anytime soon anymore! See you later.

I honestly think it’s a shame FM has attracted a bigger fan base over the last few years. When I was younger I always thought: SI really deserves a lot more recognition and sales for the great game they produce every year but now it finally got to that point and it feels like they’re more interested in money than the quality of the game… sad to see, feels like the end of an era, I don’t see FM24 being any better than this year’s game.

I feel like the game has become way too complicated. The glaring issues aside (they’ve all been mentioned numerous times in this thread), there’s so many clicks to find simple information. Pointless meeting after pointless meeting, we are talking about a computer game here. It’s meant to pass the time, but SI are striving for realism. Who’s going to tell them it isn’t real life? The whole point of the game is to have fun, but it takes far too much time now. It’s time to go back to the basics, I’m just not having fun anymore. It almost feels like a fulltime job.

I’ve been harsh on SI when I wasn’t happy with the game so I have to give credit where credit’s due and I have to say the game is in a much better state since the update. It’s not perfect, but that’s okay as nothing will ever be perfect. I’m enjoying the game right now.
That being said, a small detail that bothers me a little is the fact that the team you currently manage is now purple coloured where it used to be kind of blue-ish eversince I can remember. I’ve been talking about unnecessary changes SI made to the game and this is one more example. Why change it? It’s confusing me because purple was always the colour for affiliated clubs, so every time I see my own team I need a fraction of a second to realize it is in fact my own side instead of an affiliated club. Is there any way to change those colours?

I get that there’s no such thing as a bug free game. I also get that you can’t make everyone happy. But what really bothers me is that there’s a lot of bugs that have been in the game for years and they’re not getting fixed, but SI ignore them and decide to focus on scarves and watches for your manager. Ironically enough, that also doesn’t work the way it should.
I’m going to name a few examples. Player X wants to leave because he can earn more money elsewhere. So I say to him: okay, how much money do you want? Player X gets angry with me because ‘this is not about money!’ and half the squad is also mad at me. So, I have to let Player X go to keep the squad happy. The minute he gets sold, angry squad members come to me and ask me why in the world I would sell Player X because we can’t replace him.
I still try to replace him. I make an offer for Player Y, it gets accepted, but there’s also another club that wants to sign him. I’m top of the table, the other team sits in 7th in the same league and doesn’t have a better reputation. After a long time, Player Y turns me down for the team in 7th, even though I offered him three times more money than they did. So annoying. And there’s loads more. I suggest SI would focus on this type of stuff instead of scarves that don’t work properly.
What also bothers me is the amount of clicks we have to do, they increase every year. Of course, we all like the game to be realistic but the strive for realism has gone too far imo. It’s still a game, we play it to pass time. If I want 100% realism I would coach a local youth team or something. There’s loads of features that are completely unnecessary and because of that, sometimes I feel like going back to FM13 because it was way simpler back then. Also, the graphics looked better then which is actually a disgrace if I think about it.
Last but not least, the match engine is an absolute shambles. Excessive balls over the top with defenders running away from it. Unplayable. It makes me sad to see that the game is heading towards the wrong direction, because Miles can’t stop boasting on social media. Oh well, I have to accept it and get used to it, I guess. But for now, I’ll stop playing.

Please get rid of PAUSED on the scoreboard. I know the game is paused because, you know, I’m the one who paused it. I’d much rather see the time on there. This is one example of small changes SI make every year that are completely unnecessary and actually make the game a bit worse. Like the total revamp of the match UI in FM21 (still want the old one back), the new squad planner, newgen faces getting worse and there’s plenty more. Sad and a bit frustrating to see to be honest.

I really appreciate the hard work SI, I really do. However, the through balls over the top are kind of a dealbreaker for me. There’s far too many and the defence is all over the place sometimes. It feels like teams are not comfortable in possession, I like that it’s more unpredictable this year but it’s a little too much imo. Hope it will be a little better when the day one patch comes

All I hope for is AI managers not to be stupid anymore (which I have high hopes for) and newgen faces to look like they did in FM17. Would also be nice to have the Match UI of FM20 and before back, but I guess that's not going to happen. The old UI was way 'cleaner' though.
Also, one thing that would really make the game better for me is a small detail: how career milestones look in someone's profile. Now it looks like this:
While in FM19, it looked like this:
The FM19 one looks far better imo, especially the real trophy instead of the yellow one that is used for every single competition in FM22. Also, changing clubs is not really a 'milestone', is it? Would be fantastic if we could see the real trophies again, instead of that yellow one!

One thing that annoys the **** out of me is this. When a player plays in a league where B-teams also show on the history page. It looks so ugly and I really don't like it. Sure, when player are from the academy and they play competitive games for the B-team, it still looks ugly but I get it. But in a lot of cases it also shows when a player comes on as a sub in a friendly in pre season, and it says 0 games played. I would love SI to get rid of this 'feature'.

43.7% is way less than what’s the case in FM, though. I’ve only played one game so far today, result was 2-2. Every goal was scored from a cross, three corner kicks and one regular cross.

I bought FM on release but didn’t get to play a lot before last week. So I got into it only just now but oh my, the match engine is terrible. It feels like FM20 all over again, every goal is scored from a cross or a set piece. It genuinely feels like you have a bigger chance of scoring a header with your 5’6” winger than a 1v1 with your 18 finishing striker. How is that possible when the ME was so good last year? You just know they aren’t gonna fix it this year and announce an improved ME as a headline feature for FM23. I’ve seen this before. Big shame SI, big shame (once again)…

The one thing that really annoys me every year is how overrated Man Utd are. I’m in November now and they’re already 5 points clear of Liverpool in second, having won every single game but one. They already played everyone of the ‘Big Six’ except Arsenal. It’s the same song every year.

Can I just say.. thank you guys from SI. I am pretty hard to please so I’m not completely satisfied with the ME for now but I really appreciate the work you guys are doing. I know you’re working very hard and even though the game is not perfect (which it will never be) just know a lot of people are thankful for the effort you’re putting in. Constructive criticism is fine but you don’t deserve some of the abuse you’re getting.

Is it just me or is there an extraordinary amount of injury time goals? It’s fun if a side wins or draws a game in stoppage time but in real life it happens only once or twice a season, and I feel like it happens far more often in FM22.

Ok so with the Christmas break for the first time I got some time to get really into it, and I must say it didn't disappoint. I'm having a lot of fun with FM21 right now. A couple of remarks from my side:
- The ME is great, thanks for that SI.
- I've said it before, but the UI in general and especially the match UI are very disappointing, if you compare it to FM19 or below for example, it's much worse now. I get that SI want the game to be like football in real life, but don't forget that it's just a game and almost everyone doesn't watch the full 90 minutes. I wish you could just let us choose between the new or old UI.
- Manchester United are, again, ridiculously overrated.
- The AI makes a lot of stupid decisions. I'm managing in Holland but since I like Liverpool a lot I watch between 10 and 20 Liverpool matches a season, in game. The first season, Milner played in almost all of them, while Thiago only got to seven games (and he was only injured for like three weeks). Naby Keita got to twelve appearances, eight of them coming off the bench, while Oxlade-Chamberlain played 24 matches (six off the bench)? And the worst of all, Liverpool got to the Champions League final, against Juventus. Everyone was fully fit. So, when you have a fully fit squad and you're managing Liverpool, who do you pick as you starting LB in a CL final? My guess is, you would definitely not pick James Milner. But, that's right, the AI did. Robertson on the bench, Milner starting LB, and a midfield of Henderson, Wijnaldum and Oxlade-Chamberlain. Thiago, on of the best midfielders in the world, not even in the squad. Come on SI...
But, as I said, I'm having fun! These are just a couple of irritations that I had to get off my chest.

The thing I can't understand is, why don't SI just give every player the option to pick a match UI themselves? Like (well, not this year, but you get the idea) you were always able to choose which skin you want. Why can't we choose the 'old' match UI if we want to? It would solve a big problem and SI don't have to tell us 'some people like the new match UI' anymore. Is that not a great idea? Or is it just not possible. I bought FM21 but I've only played 7 hours so far and I haven't touched it in weeks, and the only thing keeping me from playing is the match UI, I just can't stand it. Please SI, I really miss FM, at least give everyone the option to choose instead of forcing new changes that weren't necessary at all...

I feel robbed once again. SI made me feel like after the disaster that was FM20, they made some really good improvements. Beta ME was great but since full release it feels more like the FM20 ME. Also, the game is still full of bugs that make it unplayable for me. How is this a problem every year? Most years it is only fine after the March update... come on man.
In case you’re wondering, my biggest worry is the new match UI. Why can’t we just have a timeline and why can’t we see who assisted the goal? FM20 wasn’t great but at least the match UI was clear. Not being able to see who assisted a goal etc. takes away all the fun for me and makes every game feel like it’s a friendly that has no effect on the rest of the season. And I beg you, please bring back the timeline.
