Started my save with the latest patch. Sold couple youngsters to bring some backup forward since Jackson is the only decent available option, and brought Gabigol for 14m.

Preaseason was just fine, everything looked well, but when season started i got a brain damage. Could barely score, all players were around 6.4, 6.5 average rating except Petrovic, it was very hard to make some improvement. Got defeated from all bigger clubs, while was having hard time to win easier matches against Shefild, Luton etc.

Finished both FA and Carabao Cup in first matches, true horor.

Then, i decided to replace Tiago Silva and Sterling with Disasi and Mudryk, made some improvement, and now i am sitting at 6th place 4 matches before the end of the season.

My conclusion is, i have never had more difficulties like now, it is very realistic and hard in this save, i never had this kind of situation, i am playing FM since 2008, and i was shocked.

Will share some more information and pictures when the season is closed.

Take a look at Aliou Dieng from Al-Ahli Egypt, maybe will ask for higher wage, and it is available around 5-7m, but has all atributtes well suited even for all those 3 roles.

If you are looking for a cheaper option, take a look at Ibrahima Sissoko from Strasbourg, brought him in my Crvena Zvezda squad, playing 3rd season now and he is non replacable, could also fit at bwm, btb, and dm.

There is a huge difenrence about him and how is he showed in a game, and how he performed in real life.

In a game, he is supertalented, all round defender and a great option to buy. Good youngster with a huge potential.

Think he is overhyped, very slow, low concentration and very bad decision making, but has some good things about him, especialy when it comes to jumping.

Think Bologna overpaid him, but we shall see.

If you need a decent right back, then search for Alfons Sampsted from Bodo, he is really amazing, stamina 18, work rate and team work 17, all mental stats looks solid.

Contract ending 12/22 so you can sign on free and wait till January, or pay 300k + 200k add and bring him at start , as I did in my Crvena Zvezda save.

Just started my new save with Sassuolo.

Transfers in: Dany Da Mota, Rodrigo Becao, Cristian Manea, Baldanzi, Papetti, Viti, Casale.

Trasnfers out: Romagna 1.5m to Cagliari, Toljan( free loan to OGC Nice) Ayhan to Norwich 4.5m.

So far, I have played six games, 4W(Roma, Torino, Salerintana and Venezia) , 2L( Inter and Napoli, both played away). Curently we are 6th.

Berardi, Scamacca, Ferarri and Becao are the best players so far.

Will post some pictures at the end of season. Plan is to qualify for at least Conference league, it stated pretty much fine, but there is long way to go.

Transfer policy is to bring realistic players like they usually do in real life, so plan si to bring most talented Italian players as well as top prospects from rest of Europe and South America.

He has contract expiring 06/22 , so my idea was to wait till January transfer window and bring him for free on summer. Also need backup for Frattesi and Esposito looks like perfect replacement.

Season 2022/23

Well, that was not season we expected to be, Ajax won league tittle beating us just two fixtures before end of the season.
It was long battle, but we had two unexpected faults against NAC Breda(0:0), and Vitesse away (2:00), basically that cost us a lot.

We won domestic cup, beating PSV in final, and that is only trophey this year.

In CL, we took 3rd place, got to knockout system of EL, there we won game against Copenhagen, but in next stage we have lost against Lyonnais.

I need to mention Bagdad Bounedjah, he is a monster really, 31/31. In total he scored 37 goals in 39 games.
He broke previous club record which was 35 goals, forgott player's name, but it was back in 60's.

When it comes to transfers, I got few nice signings in January. Brought Zirkzee(7.5m) , Boniface(2.5m), Tahith Chong(4m), Sepp van der Berg(1m), Dijks(1m), Hugo Felix(2m). But, the most important signing is Sven Botman, I did not bring him in January, but somewhere in March, cost me 12m+5 aditional bonus, I don't know how that chance came to me, but for sure I had to take it. Now, I have future in heart of defence, just need some older guy with him, because Trauner is not good enough for our set goals.

Maybe I did mistake, I signed couple of youngsters instead of already proven players, and now I have to change it in this transfer window.

I need to agree with @Kingbill, second season was way harder than first one, and with less success.

Also, board is ridiculous, did not grant me a single request, I have only 7 coaches, how am I suppose to go forward with that? I hope current owner will leave soon.

@Kingbill Milambo picture is here, he had injury(2 months), which slowed his progress down. My favorite youngster is Slory by the way, will give him more chance next season, as well as to Milambo.

Summer transfer window:

In: Savio, Danjuma, St Jago, Pieters, Kongolo, Van Roijen, Bazoer, Valakari,Chery, Makhlambi, Lammers,Bounedjah, extended loan with Hendrix, Schouten, Levi Smans( free, real hidden gem), and couple of talented youngsters such as guy from Thailand, Mueanta and kept him on loan in Thailand till the end of the season.

Out: Jahanbach(8m), Diemers(1m), Sandler(1.8m) Felicia (1.5m), Linsen out from January(2.5m), Pieters(300k), Bozenik(1m) and couple of B team low potential youngsters.

New season started well, won Supercup against Ajax, started very well in Eredivisie but lost game against Ajax and got draw against Herenven. Now, I am almost in November.

In Champions league, in group with Eintracht Frankfurt, Atletico Madrid and Clubb Brugge, after 5 games , I have 4 defeats and one win (Clubb Brugge Home). In last fixture, playing against Eintracht, they have 4 points, so I need win in order to reach knockout phase of Europa League.

So far, as first season was amazing, this second season is not at all. A lot of ups and downs, late wins. I am not pleased how we did it in CL. In my last played game, it was 0:0 with Atletico for 65 minutes, sudddenly Hermoso got red card, I changed mentality , and tried to get win, but off course Lemar scored free kick from 30m. What to say.

Top signing is Bagdhad Bounedjah, for only 3m you will get serious goalscorer.

Emanuel Emegha is at Antwerp since last update I use. Will take a look at him for sure.

Yup, they are trying to sell club im my save as well, for now one failed takover.

They are rejecting all my requests, but I had luck with Senesi, so i have enough to invest.

For now I brought: Savio(6m+2), Danjuma(free loan + 12m optional), Tommy St. Jago 8m+5m bonus, Pieters free, Schouten for 4.5 + 2.5 bonus.

Looking for new striker and replacement for Kokcu since Till asked for unrealistic wage 50-60k per week.

Feyenord 2021/22 End of season

Yes, we did it!

We have secured first place before last game of the season!

Also, we managed to get another trophey, winning game against Ajax in Cup final.

In Europa Conference league, we managed to reach 1/2. in two games with Spurs, first finished 3:1 , but in London, we suffered defeat 5:2 in extra time.

In total, this was amazing season for us!

I lost Linssen in January for 3 months, as well as Dimata(january signing) for 7 months, so I needed to make a couple of changes. Put Till as lone PF striker, and he did beautifull job for me!

Now I have 10m and more to spent, will for sure upgrade current squad, will try to keep Till even Spartak ask 10m for him.
Will keep most players like Holmgren, Trauner, Bijlow, Kaiky, Malacia, Toornstra, Aursnes, Kokcu, Sinistera.
Probably will sell: Gertruida, Alireza J and most of loan players to make more space in budget.
When it comes to incoming transfers, already signed Schouten from Bologna for 5m, Bazoer comming on free and couple talented youngsters( Karim Konate, Fatawu, Bjorn Hardley).

Feyenord 2021/22 Season

So far we are in February now, and season is going really good for now as we managed to get 17 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat(PSV away) with 43 GF and 7 AG , 36 GD.
We finished 2nd in Europa Conference league in group with Antwerp, Hammarby and St. Johnstone.
Also managed to reach 1/4 in Domestic cup.
Best goalscorer is Linssen with 13 league goals, and 20 goals in total, in 29 games played.
Basically, I don't have some significant weak in my team, everyone is playing well and everything functions good so far.
In the middle of January, board sold Senesi for 40m + 20% from Newcastle , I could not stop them even money was amazing. Before that, i accepted 30m +20% from Totenhem and loan back until end of the season, because I did not want to change anything, esepecially in heart of the defence. Anyway, it was good job,and one of the best out transfers I ever had.
As a replacement I brought Kaiky from Santos, on loan with 500k + 7m opttional if he prove himself till the end of the season.
Will post some pictures bellow, that is it for now, hear you back at the end of the season, hopefully with trophey in our hands!

I just started my save with Feyenoord.

It's really tough, only 500k to spent, coaching staff not great, lack of backups for RB and LB, also one more CB is good to have...

But on the other side, what makes it so interesting is to manage with all this issues and give a try and battle for championship.

That is my goal, will rotate in Europenian competiton, all focus on Eredivisie.

For now, plan is to bring backup for Malacia and Holmgren, also backup for Trauner, and backup for Linsen since i don't really beleive in Dessers.

I will definitely start long term save with them, but I don't know should I wait for official update or to play with those unofficial.

Also, main doubt is to play 4-4-2. I used this system in past, worked really well but not sure how is gonna work on FM22.

Blacbkurn Rovers 2023/24 Start of new season

Third season with Rovers, for now save is progressing really well , according to my expectations.

In this summer, I decided to invest a little bit more than ussual, so I spent almost 120m.

I brought some really good players like Turnbull, Kumbula, Assuncao, Gallagher, Bello, Ettiene Green etc

Also, I changed some things in tactics and formation as well.

In defence, I play now with one BP-D(Nagalo), CD(Kumbulla), WCB(Sarr).

So far, we played two games, draw against CP and defeat against MU.

Goal is to finish in top 10, and fight for Europe cup if there is any chance, through the league or FA cup.

Blackburn Rovers End of 2022/23 Season

Well, we had pretty much interesting first season in PL with a lot ups and downs, but we managed to finish 14th.

I am satisfied with what we achieved, especially according to squad we have at the moment.

So far best player was Bereton with 18 goals and 5 assits in 38 games. He did now miss even a single game.

Darly Dike was amazing also with 8 goals in 18 apps , Pickering also helped us with 8 assits, Johnston was amazing , Nyambe also.

Well, the plan is to improve squad, will change roles in defence and see what happens.

Yup, you are right.

I don't want to change formation and style, but for sure i have to change something since i just had five consecutive defetats.

Will try it with one BLP and two CD. But the question is, where to put BPD, in the middle, on the right or left side?

I have 3 more games to play, will probably finish 14th, which is good achievement for now.

But to many questions about what should I change, what to improve, but that is the buty of this game.

Always with two strikers, somethimes when I play against bigger clubs, I drop Winks deeper into DM, and change couple roles.

Main problem that I have with this formation is 3 centre backs who has all the time bad rating.

I don't know what to do, I change role, instructions, but theye are playing really bad.

Does anyone has some advise what to do, how to combine players and their roles ?

Blackburn Rovers 2022/23 , Winter transfer update

Well, we are playing surprisingly well.

We are now in the middle of the table, playing some really interesting football.

Bereton is really amazing, scored 12 , Dolan was poor so I brought Darly Dike for 8m(10).

Soares was also not that good, so I signed Matias Palacios for 11m from Basel. I need some creativity in the middle, hope Matias will be helpfull.

Also brought Nathan Wood from Boro and amazing CB from Ivory Coast, used to play for Nordsjaeland in Denmark - Nagalo.
Some great stats really, and great potential for only 3M(1m additional).

At the start of the season, goal was just to survive, but now we are planning to reach middle of the table, so will see what happens.

His name is Makouta, plays for Boavista and I signed him for only 1.5m in second season.

Great Bbm and bwm with amazing phisical attributes. Real bargain.

Blacbkurn Rovers 2022/23

Survival

Our main goal is to survive and stay in PL.

So far, I played 4 games, 1w(Fulham), 2 draws (City and Vila), and 1D(Liverpool).

We were leading against City for a while and then of course, referees gave strange penalty to them, and we got only a draw even we deserved to win.

I am pleased so far, we had good transfer window, brought really good and cheap players like Winks, Soares, Sarr etc

Did not want to separate great duo (Dolan-Bereton), they will be first option in attack, just brought Benteke and Andone to support them.

Also, I have changed couple of roles in MID, now playing with DLP-D(Winks), Box to Box, really hidden gem( Makouta, signed for only 1.5m from Boavista) and Mezzala or AP-S (Filipe Soares).

I put him on "roam from position" and "dribble more" so he can create chances for himself and create space for Bereton.

Now, I am working on transfers so will inform you guys soon as I am done with that.

It is really tough for now, only brought Dan Burn as backup player.

Blackburn Rovers / Season 2021/22

YES, WE MADE IT !!!

PREMIER LEAGUE WILL BE WATCHED AGAIN ON THE EWOOD PARK!

It was really stressful season, full of ups and downs, but we made it!
Bournmouth...they did not want to surrender, but somehow we managed to finish 2nd in very demanding league.
I will post images bellow because I can't manage to put them between text.
Basically, it was really tough season, but we played good , so gratefull to Bereton, Dolan, Nyambe, Pickering, Ayala, Rothwell and etc..everybody gave 100% and we deserved it!
In last round, it was 57' minute, I was loosing 3:0, Bornmouth was leading 2:0... and I did not want to give up so I changed everything in our style and formation and somehow we managed to get draw.
Best players are for sure Bereton and Dolan, finished as best goalscorers, Dolan 27, Bereton 26 goals. Great partnership between them. Also, Rothwell was amazing , Nyambe was constantly the best player by the rating, Ayala was commanding defence alongside with Lenihan, Pickering was amazing with 12 assists.
Dolan- 46 apps /27 goals/7 ass
Bereton- 43apps /26goals/11ass

When it comes to transfers, I did not have enough money to bring some quality players, so I decided to loan most of them like Drameh, Connolly and Ramsey.
Signed Lautoa on free, he was good but i replaced him with Van Hecke in the middle of the season.
Formation 5-3-2 did good job really, I gave all freedom to Bereton, Dolan and Rothwell. Pickering was amazing on the left flank with so many crosses and assits, in the same time on the right flank Nyambe did lovely job really.

That would be it for now, I have 44m to spend in this window, will try to ugprade this team and to bring some quality players.

Hi guys,

I was thinking to start a long term save with Blackburn Rovers, but I have a few doubts.

First of all is formation, which one to play?

4-3-2-1

Kaminski-Nyambe-Lenihan-Ayala-Pickering-Buckley-Travis-Rothwell-Dolan-Khadra(new signing)-Bereton

or

5-3-2 with wing backs and two AF forwards (Dolan and Bereton)

Also, I have doubt Bereton's role, should I put him on AF or PF , and is he capable to play as a lone striker in 4-3-2-1 or is it more suitable to play with two strikers in 5-3-2?

After update and closing summer transfer window, I started with AS Roma.

My goal was to win championship, and off course to give our best in rest of the competitions.

I managed to win title in first season, with 15 points more than next team.
In EURO CUP i managed to get seminfals , but I was defeated by West Ham , same situation in Italian CUP, I was defeated by Inter.

Abraham was third best goalscorer after Immobile and Simy.
Totaly he was best team goal scorer with 25 goals in 46 games.

Mainly I was using 4-3-2-1 or 4-2-3-1 it depends on which team I am facing with.
When it comes to transfers, I have sold Nzonzi to Juventus for 9M , Fazio to River for 1.5M , Santon to Brighton for 6M, Shomurodov to Cagliari for 3.5M and I have relased Daneil Fuzzato. I managed to get Calegari from Fluminense for 22M, Almada from Velez for 11M , Scammaca from Sasuollo for 5M, Gagliardini from Inter for 5M, and bunch of great talents such as Papetti, Gnonto, Gentile, Loizou, Popescu, Bundgaard and etc.

My main problem is Zaniolo, beacuse he is unhappy becuase I stopped negotiations with PSG and refused offer. Will try to solve that and keep him in our squad, because he is the best player along with Pellegrini.

Now in next season, my plan is to remain as tittle owner, and off course to get latter stages of Champions Cup.

Will try to get better LB, because Vina is not good enough, and Calafiori is still not that good. Anyway, I will post some pictures when I finish transfer window.
