2 days after a league one game in the cup.
We made all our subs then get 2 injuries going down to 9 men. they get an injury bringing them to 10.
120 minutes after extra time them win a penalty shootout.

I am struggling to find anyone good enough that actually wants to join. I am trying to focus more on mentals and physicals as priorirty but am still struggling.
I am having to resort to players who dont like big matches and may not be consistent. I get the realism factor is kicking in here with our reputation not being high enough yet even after the new season begins after June 23rd (I think). Just wondered if anyone on here had some creative ideas or ways they do it.
Do you rely solely on your scouts? how do you find those players?

I'm really curious how others play the game. Especially in LLM what do you do season by season, your expectations even after promotion and what you enjoy.
I want to know what you look for in players, what you do when you cannot find the players you need. Do you change your tactics or do you keep the same tactic and just wait for squad building?

Hi All,
Have been reading a few things said on the forums about LLM and prioritising Physicals & Mentals over technicals so decided to try it out.
What I found is that some of the time players I find suit this approach but the scouting tells me they need to become more consistent or do not like big games.
When using this approach do you still take the player if no other options? Also, how do you make a player more consistent other than mindlessly playing them?

When I say fork, I mean the development term for taking what is and going separate ways with it.
What I mean in this context is you take a saved game, make 2 separate saves from the same file and go in different directions ie tactics and players etc.
So do you ever fork your save?

I usually find if I max press them with counter press the bigger opposition cant cope with it.

Does anyone let the game stress them out at all? I find sometimes with most games not just FM I sometimes find that I'm not enjoying it because I'm stressing about it.

I seem to changing my DL & LOE constantly in games. i don't know if I feel the opposition is changing their approach or I need to make a change from the default often once I see how the opposition is playing.
Am I the only one?

I get what you're saying. If I was going to swap one of the sides to FB(A) and the wide player on support that might make this a bit more diverse but I dont have a player that can player wide midfielders or inverted wingers so I might be still limited to a winger...

Hi,
I would like some ideas on how to make my 4-4-2 better.
Started 1 league below the Vanarama North. Was one of the best teams in the league and got promoted first season with our PF on Attack getting 50 goals across all competitions. Got to the FA Trophy Semis and won the Northern Premier League cup.
Towards the second half of the season was a bit of a struggle in the league and I'm not completely convinced by the tactic yet. the FBs dont get very good ratings. I know it's going to get harder in this coming season so was wanting to see if there is anything I can do.
