Just wanted to thank you for these tactics, they are a lot different than most of the ‘plug and play’ tactics out there IMO and obviously constructed with skill and care.
Just to point to how effective they are, I started an Ajax save and used the PEP 433 systems for the season. Obviously won the Dutch league easily, but also got to the champions league final where I was beaten in extra time by a Messi inspired PSG. Considering that I only bought Adayemi for the F9 position (he was devastating BTW), this was pretty much the original Ajax team so was massively overachieving.
Started using the 2-3-5 for home games in second season and it just blows teams away, even in the champions league.
The only thing I’ve noticed is that the left complete wing back in the 433 and the left IWB in the 2-3-5 do seem to struggle for good match ratings and to get involved in the play sometimes. These are such finely tuned tactics - the football they play in the ME is exceptional - that I can imagine that these roles are there for a very good reason, but I wondered if anyone else noticed?
