  1. Going into our first season in League One, I have decided to axe Tony Adams for a better and younger new Director of Football. May I present to you former Arsenal youngster Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.
  2. End of 2030/31 season: This season we defied expectations yet again and won the league. We have now been promoted to League One for the first time after just three seasons in League Two. My aim for the upcoming season is to avoid relegation. We also reached the FA Cup 4th round losing by two goals against Liverpool.
  3. End of season 2029/30: We were so close to going up finishing one point outside the automatic promotion places in 4th place. We lost in the playoff semi final as well. We lost to Manchester City in the League Cup but made £600,000 in gate receipts from this game alone. Overall it was a great season. Lets just hope we can go one better next season.
  4. We are currently the only team left in the League Cup who is not a Premier League team. Not bad for a League 2 team . I am not expected to get through though as we are playing the Premier League leaders, and six time defending champions Manchester City . Anyone remember Bradford City's heroics in the 2013 League Cup campaign? I wonder if we could do the same or better. Even if we do go out, we need the money so playing them away from home is ideal.
  5. End of 2028/29 season: In our club's first ever League 2 campaign, we finished in 19th place. Although it could have been much better, as we were in the top half at the half way point. But we stayed up which was my aim for this season. My aims for the upcoming season is to finish in mid table and reach the FA Cup 3rd round for the first time. Tony Adams finally splashed out on Chris and Jordan to bolster our back line for a mouth watering combined fee of £14,000.
  6. End of 2027/28 season: In my 10th season in charge, we managed to win the playoffs in only my 3rd season in the National League and get promoted into League 2. I am aiming to avoid relegation next season.
  7. Thanks. I am aiming for playoffs this season. However, as we are predicted to finish in 20th place by the media, I would be happy to finish mid table again.
  8. End of 2026/27 season: After being expected to fight bravely against relegation this season, we finished in 9th place. Although our Director of Football used the loan market again this season, his best transfers were his permanent ones. We also sold our first player for actual money.
  9. Thanks, this season I am hoping to avoid relegation again, but maybe not leave it to the end of the season before our stay in the league is confirmed.
  10. Funnily enough we do need to improve our defensive training. I tried offering him a dual Director of Football/Coach role, to improve this, but he turned my offer down. Maybe he should stick to the transfers.
  11. End of 2025/26 season: It was a close call but we managed to beat the drop on the final day of the season. We ended the season in 19th place just 1 point above the relegation zone. This season we made good use of the loan market again.
  12. Thanks I am pleased with how the season went overall. I just hope we can avoid relegation next season.
  13. End of 2024/25 season: This season was remarkable not only did we win the league, we also did pretty well in the cup competitions. We nearly made it to the FA Trophy final losing on penalties in the semi final to the eventual winners Barrow. We also got a respectable 0-1 loss to League One side Burton Albion despite being down a man for nearly half the game in the FA Cup 2nd round. Our best performing transfers this season were two loan signings, a winger and a striker.
  14. End of 2023/24 season: Unfortunately we have finished mid table again. My aim for next season is to win promotion either by the playoffs or winning the league. Our better performing new transfers were all loan players again except a young defender who we signed.
  15. Although the tycoon takeover failed, the club now has a new owner at the helm.
  16. Yes that is a bit weird, as they won the National League South in the first season. However they got relegated the next season but ended up in the National League North instead of the South.
  17. We are currently in the process of a board takeover. If this works out we may have a lot of money to spend this summer. Either that or they sack me for someone else.
  18. End of 2022/23 season: We had another average season finishing mid table. We did well to make it to the 4th round of the FA Trophy. Two of our loan players, our new goalkeeper and attacking midfielder were our best transfers this season.
  19. After finally getting into this year's game, I have decided to have a go at managing in the lower leagues. I will take over at my local club Ashton United. I am currently in my 5th season at the club. After finishing in 6th, 7th, 10th and 12th in recent years, we currently find ourselves in the playoff places. I hope to make it third time lucky and win promotion this season via the playoffs. It will be up to my Director of Football to sign first team players and renew their contracts.
  20. This is how the second half of the 2080/81 season went for me: I rejoined Everton on 30th December. We won the FA Cup this year. Next season we are expected to finish in the top 4.
  21. Thanks Nobby_McDonald. I still can't believe we got promoted especially with their being only one promotion place up for grabs. My aim for this season is to just survive. However, the board expect me to fight against relegation. If the worst does happen I have loaded the league below so I can't be sacked for playing in an inactive league. At least, this league and the ones above have two or more promotion places.
  22. Is there a limit to how many seasons you can play, on one save, on Football Manager Touch 2019 for the Nintendo Switch?
