March 2028
We look like we've turned around our bad run of form, and slightly closed the gap at the top. If we all win our game in hand there will be 2 points between the top 4 with 6 games to go.
We finally shake our Leipzig demons and draw Real Madrid, who've won the last two Champions Leagues. But hey, making the quarters is huge for us.

And just like that, we've fallen apart, dropped to 4th and now 5 points behind Bayern
To add insult to injury, we've drawn RB Leipzig in the Champions League, a team we don't know how to beat

Transfers Out
Kaufmann, a 140 game Union veteran who became 4th choice striker and was in real danger of disappearing completely leaves when Koln came calling. Also leaving is backup keeper Gasparini, who leaves after 72 games to sit on the bench at Spurs for 2.2m a year, and academy product Christoph Breuer, who didn't really develop well and is also injury prone and inconsistent.
A busy month, but a productive one. We go top of the league, and we finish in the top 8 of the Champions League league phase. I have no idea how we got wins over United and PSG (4-0!). Maybe we're better than I think we are. I'm sure that comment won't age well

After the first two games this month, I thought we were set to fall apart and I was prepared to curse the AFCON for stealing 3 of my starters. But we got through the rest of the month pretty unscathed, some academy products got some game time, and we sit in strong positions in both domestic and continental leagues.

We lose our first Champions League game, and although we look good we still have PSG and United left to play. We're also 6 points ahead of Bayern, but we have yet to play them, Dortmund, Leverkusen and Leipzig. We have the first 3 next month, and we're missing 3 starters because they're off playing the African Cup of Nations. I don't have high hopes.

An unbeaten month, and a pretty dominant one at that as we go 3 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga. Even managed a draw against City!

Our unbeaten run in the Bundesliga doesn't last very long, but we still sit 3rd. Champions League has also gotten off to a brilliant start.

Just read through your career mate, well done on the constant improvement. Hopefully you will be Champions in a season or two.
Thanks Rick, we're certainly trending in the right direction!

2027 Summer Transfer Window
A pretty quiet window, our first team's pretty strong so there aren't too many players that can strengthen us. But we bring in Xhemalija permamently after a strong loan last season, as well as young French striker Lambourde from Rennes, who was meant to be a starter but other strikers had a better preseason and now rank above him in terms of ability. Not much to report on the outs, although I had to loan out Kerkez who was starting to turn the dressing room against me over playing time. Which is fair enough as he's good enough to start anywhere, but Jelert is the better option at LWB for now.
It's a perfect start domestically, as we are yet to concede a goal!
We get some really tough teams in the Champions League, I don't think we'll get results against either Manchester, PSG or Juventus.

We managed to right the ship enough to get 3rd place, and Champions League for next season. This has been a huge turnaround in only 4 seasons, and I'm nowhere near done.
Best XI
Samed Baždar - Pedro Malheiro - Elias Jelert

This month has taught me two things: we are expert chokers and Feyernoord are a legitimately excellent team. Suddenly Champions League qualification is under threat.

Kind of faltered a bit here, allowing Dortmund to catch up. But we beat Bayern again, and at least making the challenge somewhat interesting for the neutral.
We get another reasonably generous draw in the Europa League too, but there really are no weak teams when you get to this stage.

A slight slip up at home to Hamburg, and it wasn't for that we would be top at the end of the month. Bayern seem to be slipping up, but can we stay consistent enough to catch them?
We get Rangers in the Europa League. It's not the most difficult tie, but they're still going to be a challenge.

No transfer action and an FMing against Gladbach costs us an unbeaten run this month, but we seem to have carved a niche in 2nd place, with a healthyish gap provided we win our game in hand. It's also cool to see teams like APOEL and Astana qualify for the next stage of the Europa League too!

I feel like the Union fans would've sacrificed our good form this season if it meant beating Hertha But we're sitting pretty heading into the second half of the season.

Back to winning ways this month, which saw us go top of the Bundesliga briefly before Bayern resumed normal service. But with our game in hand we have a chance to go top again. We also get strong results in Europe, and will probably finish in the top 8.

What a start to the season! I think all these new purchases are contributing massively. It's only early days yet, but we look great so far.

2026 Summer Transfer Window
A huge window for departures, as we lose our star DM Clem due to a release clause, starting CB Okoli, new starter and former backup CB Jaeckel, starting CAM Almada and our other starting CB Amione. In total, we made more than double than what we paid for them, which went towards strengthening an alarmingly weak team due to these losses.
Don't let the huge number fool you - we only spent about 25% of this up front. The instalments are tomorrow's problem, and hopefully by then the results will pay for it. The two loanees were brought in to replace Clem and Almada respectively, and then we went crazy on deadline day. We brought in a new LWB (Kerkez), ST (Bazdar), CAM (Moleiro), GK (Restes) and CB (Quintana). Quintana becomes our first newgen purchase, and he looks like he has plenty of room to grow while also being first team ready.
Despite all this spending we still have 46M left We'll just ignore the 132M in transfer debt though.
Despite having only two of our new signings we've gotten off to a good start in the league, going 2 for 3.
We get a pretty good draw here too, I'd expect to qualify from this.

I said I wanted Europa League, and my players took it personally as we sat 3rd before the final game But we ended up choking against Hoffenheim, so we go into the Europa League for next season anyway
Best XI

Next Season
It's taken 3 seasons to put this club on an upward trend, which is exactly where I wanted to be at this stage of the save. Another season will give the academy players time to bridge the gap and help our depth. We'll see if we can make any improvements to the first team, and it's not going to be long before the first newgens start to pop up on the shortlist. There are a few that look really good, but we just have to hope no one else notices

We split results this month, and the final Champions League spot comes down to the wire. I'm not sure I'd prefer it at this stage, I reckon a strong Europa League run would do wonders. But let's see what happens.

Any hope of getting something from this season evaporated quickly this month, as a horror run puts us in danger of even returning to the Champions League. It's almost an exact replica of our collapse last season.
