Pre/Post match press conferences appear to not be mandatory to action/send assistant before allowing me to continue. For example I've just done a pre-match press conference after I've played the match. Playing a network game

This has only happened to me once, but it's one more time than I'd expect to happen in real life. One of my players pulled up injured while on the ball and instead of kicking the ball out of play, passed it into space, for their player to pick up and eventually they score from, before sitting down injured. I could maybe understand this happening if my player was too injured to continue, but he was able to carry on and finish the match without even an orange injury marker

Playing as Barnsley in the Championship. Signed Izzy Brown on a free on 5th September after the transfer window closed but I'm not able to register him until January. An example of a real world signing registered after transfer window closing is Andy Carroll to Reading this season, so I'm presuming it isn't a rule that free transfers can only be registered in transfer windows? I am playing a network save, and being Barnsley can't afford to sign any more players to further replicate!
