We are struggling against team who like to keep the ball (Man City, Atalanta and Marseille recently). We are not playing badly but not creating a lot of good xG.

@VinceLombardi Thanks for your answer! I changed the CWB to WB-A, WP to IW-S with Get Further Forward/Sit Narrower/Roam from position, and changed the VOL back to BWM as I tought the VOL would move to AM spot instead of one of the IW.

Played a few games but still the same issue in the build up, the IW are too wide therefore my players don't always have the right passing opportunity and lose the ball. 

I only saw then going narrower enough one time in the build up :

Will try to make them IW-A but I don't think it will solve this issue.

I have to say that even if we don't play the way I want, we are not playing -so- badly. In some games we struggle to create really good opportunities but in the last 10 games we lost 2 (against PSG and Sevilla), drew 3 and won 5 (including game against Monaco, Porto and Lille). 

@vrig @Amarante Saldy I don't have the players to play with IWB.

It MIGHT be player/player scout reports inbox panel auto sized.xml - not at my PC to confirm.

If you have the base skin extracted, then there will be panels/player/player overview panel.sml which if copied over will revert to the original layout, but may not look good in the light version as it needs a lot more work than just inverting colours.  You can however, take the snippet of code for the attributes section (something along the lines of <widget class="player_attributes_panel"...>) and replace in this skin accordingly.

I can't stress enough how great your work is. 

I just can't get around the way the attributes are shown.. I tried to copy the player panel overview from another skin (can't find this file from the base skin) as you said in a past post but I can't make it work. I must be stupid
Is there any other file to edit ? Can you help me ? 

 

Also, can you tell me the name of the file to edit for the reports we get in the inbox ?

There was a time when he was definitely a False 9 (When playing with CR7 and Bale) but nowadays he still got this role while scoring and being attacking more.

I was getting a little bored of having the same wonderkids every new save so I made this file :

• 6299 changes
• Huge potential boost for a lot of players, all around the world selected at random, all U18
  • Current ability boost proportionally
  • Players with potential of 110-130 are now 130-150
  • Players with potential of 130-150 are now 150-170

With Database 21.4. 

There's a lot of players who can be approched for free at the beggining of a save but try to not buy them all

That's a fantastic thread. 

I mixed up some of the ideas here and it turned out pretty well! The 10-0 win against Besiktas was incredible. Not only for the score but the way we played was some of the best football I have seen on FM. I have attached a pkm of the game for anyone willing to see it.

This is another problem I see, though, Juve often does so badly in FM for some reason. Not saying you haven't earned your success, but it's strange that there's often not more competition for it.

Also, I had to google it, but that lad's Andorran? That's so random. Did he come through your youth, or did you find him somewhere else? Should I be scouting Andorra??
