Spain are absolutely pathetic. Not content with trying to bore the other teams into submission with their "possession for possessions sake only" approach they eventually bored themselves as well and forgot how to take a penalty. All the technical play, none of the intelligence.
They'll still pump Scotland in the Euro qualification though sadly.

Nice to see Spain keeping at their game plan of boring the other team to sleep with meaningless possession and no end product even when it's not working at all. Got to hand it to them for sheer stubborn perseverance if nothing else.

That penalty run up should be an instant booking. It's only ever going to go one way in that run up and position. baffled how many keepers go the other way.
