master_fromthecrown
Can someone tell me what this is, should it be ticked or unticked? What difference does it make and how does it effect a long term game? Thanks.
Ediocy
Ticking it would make the game reduce the size of your save games, similar to zipping files with winzip. The advantage to this would be your save games taking up less space in your hard drive. The disadvantage would be the saving and loading processes lengthening considerably and there could be a minute chance of file corruption during the compression. I am not sure on the latter though, just something I remember reading about. If someone can verify or denounce it, it would be great. My advice? Unless you are hard up on hard drive space, do not enable save game compression.
Glenn Wakeford
Yeah, unless you're short of disc space uncheck it as it will save time saving/loading.
