Cantoffie
I Have forever been baffled at how my teams (So far Hyde, Southport, Stevenage) Have every game i have ever played been absolute ***** at passing. now my stevenage team can mount any decent attack without giving the ball away cheaply. I have tried many things like making my team play a short passing game, Cranking down/up the tempo, and cranking up/down the creative freedom. how do i get my team to at least string some passes together? Stantoner
fast tempo goes well with long ball and short passing goes well with low tempo, im guessing as your lower league they wont gave great passing or first touch

Jase1982
Try having your defenders on long and your forwards set to a more conservative passing style in the hope you'll get it forward quickly enough to be a threat and then let your attacking players do the creative stuff. You can't really build a short passing game from the back at lower level because of the lack in class, so it makes sense for your team to get the ball up filed quickly. For that I would also set a specific target man and tell him to come deeper than the rest of your forwards.
