solstar Posted December 8, 2008 Share Posted December 8, 2008 Basically I updated my PC by adding a new processor, a Q6700 since this would allow me to run a faster game than my Duo Core. The issue is that I have reinstalled the game and it wont run. It just freezes and then I cant open any other windows. I havent even been able to get to the activation stage, This is really weird and is something that I cant find in the Q+A or in the Sticky threads. My specs are - P5QL-E Motherboard, Q67000 Processor, DDR2 800 Ram 1GB x2 and Nvidia 8600GT Graphics Card 256 {This I was planing to replace at a later stage} I have tried with antivirus on and off and yet the same thing keeps happenign again and again and Direct X is also installed and updated. Firstly it still appears to be on Directx 9.0 for soem reason and it also crashes when trying to save the dxdiag. Would you just say I reinstall Windows...
