Few random ideas: Wonderkids or early superstars sudden lost of skills/ability (Dele Alli, Karius etc.) Medical problems (Aguero) Bad Boys (Balotelli) Serious bust ups (Sancho, Ronaldo) Earthquakes (ok, thats bad) Social media scandals etc. (Ja Morant in NBA gun scandal) Fight between players or punching referee (I remember early CM ) Ending career early.... other interests Cheating with other player wife Partying all night long (Rashford) Changing league rules randomly (system, points, yellow or red cards, clubs in division etc.) Changing transfer rules randomly AI should try throw more obstacles in your way to be succesfull (scandals, take money away, force to sell). Its way too easy to play with a strong team and win league 15 years in a row.
