Stanley Cullis (25 October 1916 – 28 February 2001).

During his term as manager between 1948 and 1964, Wolves became one of the strongest teams in the English game, winning the league title on three occasions, and playing a series of high-profile friendly matches against top European sides which acted as a precursor to the European Cup.

Honours:

First League Champions: 1953–54, 1957–58, 1958–59

FA Cup Winners: 1949, 1960

FA Charity Shield: 1959

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to Molineux. I have several goals for this save:

Global: To surpass great achievements of Stan Cullis. We need to win at least 4 EPL titles, at least 3 FA Cups and at least two 2 Community Shield.

Important: Win Champions League.

Additional: 1. "Bull`s Challenge". Our player should score at least 307 goals for Wolves in all competitions.  2. "Parkin`s Challenge". Our player should made at least 610 appearances for Wolves in all competitions.

I have no complaints about finances or facilities. They are at a very good level. Actually, I have everything at my disposal to progress the club. Though there is the only one crucial factor of the progress - it`s our performance on the pitch.

Meet the Manager

5dBJ08i.png

Knight's career has a lot of parallels to the pathway of legendary Stan Cullis. Being professional footballer, he got a serious injury and quite early decided to hang up his boots.  And, as like Stan, he was appointed head coach at the age of 31.

I have mixed impressions about the squad. We have very creative attacking line, first-class goalkeeper, and good quality on the defensive flanks. But I find our midfield weak in comparison with other teams in the league. And I would like to have higher quality of depth in central defensive area.

Young players to watch

72.png?lm=1520611569 Joe Hodge - I have big hopes for this guy.

132.png?lm=1520611569 Enso González - good potential but he should put a lot of work on improving his physic to match EPL standards.

SEASON 2023-2024 | PREVIEW

Friendly matches

fZnh2bb.png

We had enough time for eight fixtures. I`m glad about results but couldn`t be such positive talking about our performance in defense. Hopefully with rising cohesion we will see better collective defensive actions on the pitch

Tactical set-up and proposed First XI

qGRi3iK.png

Idea here is to create 3-1-6 in possession while defending in mid-block 4-4-1-1 (4-4-2). Shorter but more decisive passes and quick counter-attacks. I`m not 100% sure it will work in the season as I want but let`s see. And another small tactical experiment: I decided to retrain Nelson Semedo to winger role in AM strata. As we have defensive-minded role on the right fullback side, dribbling and pace of Semedo could be utilized in attack.

SEASON 2023-2024 | AUGUST

17FeL5q.png

Opening day was outstanding, though in the first half of match it looked like we will concede at least 5 goals, we just didn`t cope with Sheffield quick counter attacks.  No chances at Anfield, hard win over Brighton and surprising defeat in EFL Cup to Norwich. We made comeback after 0-3 in the first half, but in penalty shootout series lost 9-10 (!).

Tbh defending is nightmare in this FM :D

p.s. is this image readable enough? I play with some free services like Visma to create graphical content, but may will return to common updates with images directly loaded.

SEASON 2023-2024 | SEPTEMBER

uPlPgVG.png

We definitely should raise our performance if we want to avoid relegation battle. Calendar gifted us "light mode" start but later we will face all top clubs and strong "best of the rest" teams like Aston Villa, Brentford etc. I still have faith in our tactical approach but maybe it`s time to prepare plan B.

SEASON 2023-2024 | OCTOBER

htIZp1C.png

Match with Arsenal is the brightest performance in this season so far.  Absolutely mad end of first half with 3 goals in 5 minutes.

Cq5xTVg.png

No chances in Birmingham and strong-willed draw at home with Everton. 10 games past and we fight hard for every point, sometimes successfully.

SEASON 2023-2024 | NOVEMBER

yWgeGLl.png

Two straight wins in a row. Don`t laugh - it`s achievement knowing how tough EPL games are. And we looked good in a match with Newcastle. Already made a comeback but Kalajdzic missed 100% opportunity in extra time.

SEASON 2023-2024 | DECEMBER

t5jWBZA.png

Very tough calendar in December, 5 matches with top clubs. In almost all these matches we were in the game but our efforts didn`t bring points except for 1 point at Tottenham stadium. First leg in the league is behind and we meet expectations, no more or no less.

TRANSFER WINDOW

Players In

R98e8oo.png

125.png?lm=1520611569 Patrick Berg - huge upgrade to our midfield line. He is true Model Citizen after all.

75.png?lm=1520611569 Destiny Ugodie - With Ait-Nouri constantly getting injures we needed another option on left side of defence. Ugodie lost his place in struggling Tottenham and agreed loan move to our club.

tghS39x.png

What a start oof the year! Our alternative 5-2-3 tactic helped us a lot in first three matches. I still think that it`s plan B but this plan is definitely good. This winning streak create a little handicap between us and teams below, but we have 15 matches ahead and everything could happen.

I see absolutely new level of our performance. Somehow we found stability in defence even with very average players there. And in attack we always have chances with guys like Neto, Cunha and of course "King of the air" Kalajdzic, who is one of the main openings in EPL this season. We've already accomplished board`s main objective for the season and now even can qualify for the Europe if we will be able to keep the form in last three matches with West Ham, Brighton and Luton.

SEASON 2023-2024 | MAY

w4GlVBc.png

We were on the verge of qualifying for continental football next season but Cunha's totally inappropriate and dirty tackle followed by red card in the match against Luton denied us the chance to climb into the top 6. But there's no need to be discouraged. Maybe it's a bit early for us to go to Europe, given the issues in the defensive line. We'll likely have to overhaul 80% of it this summer, provided we have the necessary finances.

Knight22.jpg.89782aeb6701d6442ccd90c6241dcd72.jpg "I am very satisfied with the debut season, although at first things were not going very well and there were some doubts about the team's ability to fulfil the objectives set for the season. But an outstanding second half lifted us almost to the Europa zone and if we didn't suffer an upset defeat to Luton in the last game of the season, we could be looking at continental football next season."

Transfers

Players Out

bttoVxe.png

Semedo and Sarabia were in last year of contract and with good offers received we let them leave the club. Also, we received some good money for players who were out of my plans.

Players In

H9hYyj1.png

Massive overhaul of defensive line and replace for Sarabia in face of Angel Gomes

50.png?lm=1520611569 Nordi Mukiele - player of the highest calibre. Was №1 in shortlist for IFB role.

122.png?lm=1520611569 Perr Schuurs - one of the best defenders in Serie A last season according to most important stats and metrics. Model Citizen.

190.png?lm=1520611569 Josh Doig - another one from Italian Serie A. He meets the standards of EPL and still has a potential to the growth.

50.png?lm=1520611569 Stanley Nsoki - we needed left-footed center back who is comfortable on the ball.

189.png?lm=1520611569 Taylor Harwood-Bellis - good young defender, Man City academy graduate. Can play in center and on the right flank of defense.

189.png?lm=1520611569 Angel Gomes - Angel failed to realise his potential in MU, but he proved himself at Lille and returns to England as a regular starter.

189.png?lm=1520611569 Tommy Doyle - Tommy didn't get much time on loan last season, but he showed himself at his best and deserved a full contract. Man City were not keen on keeping him and let him go for a very modest fee.

189.png?lm=1520611569 Alex McCarthy - very experienced keeper signed on one-year contract for backup slot.

SEASON 2024-2025 | AUGUST

A8a3nM5.png

We have started the season on a undefeated streak. So far, in terms of our game, everything has turned upside down compared to last season. We are very solid in defence, but in attack we play rather poorly. At the same time, Gomes has bright debut for us with 3 goals already, which is pleasing.

SEASON 2024-2025 | SEPTEMBER

SEASON 2024-2025 | OCTOBER

fPCFRfi.png

Two completely opposite matches in a row - solid win over Arsenal and an absolutely disgusting defeat to West Ham, who was last team in the table at those time. UEL run is good so far but games with most tough opponents are ahead of us.

SEASON 2024-2025 | DECEMBER

A very busy month. Not only the number of matches, but also the level of opponents. We had a very decent run, beating Chelsea and Man United, as well as strong Newcastle and finish the year sensationally in top-3.

Transfer window

HVD39zT.png

We needed some temporary variants due to injures of Ait-Nouri and Cunha.

A bit disappointed by the unnecessary loss of points in the matches with Leicester and Everton, but in the FA Cup and Europa League everything is good, we move forward both there and there.

SEASON 2024-2025 | FEBRUARY

2EUIXsM.png

Tough run of fixtures in February as we are playing on three fronts. After defeat on Emirates we changed our tactical approach (though keeping 4-2-3-1 shape) and in next matches I saw some pleasant changes in our game. More dangerous attacking movements and more solid support from the back.

March was memorable for a beautiful Europa league comeback against Gladbach and a surprising win over City in the FA cup. I can only blame myself for the defeat to Brighton. The tactical experiment with positional football failed this time.

Hi I’ve just started a wolves save using same formation but can’t get my striker to score many. I’ve tried Silva and Cunha as the strikers because I play Kalajdzic as the number ten where he’s doing pretty well so far. Also did you get much funds in January please thanks
