phantombandit Posted November 2, 2022 Share Posted November 2, 2022 (edited) Hello, I often find that my keeper is the tallest player on my squad (logically), and I want to use them in attacking corners. The only problem is with the keeper on the other end of the field, the other team will attempt a hail marry shot from inside their penalty box. If you assign a defender to stay back they will still go up to the center line meaning the ball will sail over their heads. You can put another player in the keepers spot but they will immediately attempt to run up to the line as well. I am suggesting that if you place a player in the keeper position for a set piece they will remain there until the keeper returns, and or the ability to have a player stay even further back (maybe in their own penalty box). I am not sure if keepers are ever used in corners IRL, but it would make sense that another player would be able to cover their position in the mean time.
