Error Wrong qualified number of teams

Hi there,

I'm trying to set up a simple super cup style comp involving the winners of Dutch and Belgian leagues and cups. I set it up alright (and it's verified) in the basic rule but as soon as I convert it to advanced rules and set up the desired teams to qualify for my newly created cup that the problems start.

Screenshot 1 is the error message I get when I set the teams in the Team sub menu of the Cup

Screenshot 2 is the error I get when I set the teams in the Stage-Stage (0) --> Teams sub menu

Screenshot 3 is qualified teams 

Screenshot 4 in number of teams Min and max set at 4

Any help and solution from the community will be greatly appreciated.

This may be because the "Use runner-up team as backup" box is not checked. If you don't check both it means you are not using the runner-up.

@Samuel77 Thanks for your answer, I've checked both boxes on the 'Use Runner-Up Team As Backup', but now when I verify it I get an error that there are too many teams (5) in my comp. 

Any other idead, please?

Maybe try something like this:

 

 

 

On the last screen you have to ask for the Belgian champion to be ignored for example. 
Do the same for the Netherlands.

 

In qualified teams you should have:
0 Belgian Champion
1 Team Pool Belgium (Ignore Belgian Champion)
2 Dutch Champion
3 Team Pool Netherlands (Ignore Netherlands Champion)

 

And then you work your Team Pool like in the last screen shot.
