Now that there is a good database out for this league, I have holidayed for a season and taken over at newly promoted C. E. Jenlai. Jenlai Season Summary A season where we were good enough to avoid a relegation battle. Season Details League Table - We won enough games to finish in a comfortable mid table position. League Fixtures - Considering how few players we have, I am delighted with our form this season. Copa Federació Andorrana Table - I have no idea where our form came from, though we won the competition with ease, topping the group by eight points. Copa Federació Andorrana Fixtures - We won all seven games. Pre Season Friendlies - A decent enough pre season, with just the two defeats. Squad - We lack players and with no academy, I need to grow the bank balance so the board allow me to build one. Squad Dynamics - It is a thing of beauty. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - With no youth academy and the board currently refusing me permission to start one, I have not had an intake. Finances - We are in the black though we need a lot more to start a youth academy. Key Players Rashid Idris - Veteran Ghanaian striker who played exceptionally for most of the campaign. Joao Sequeira - Defender who raises his game when it matters the most. Estenislao López - Another defender who had a great season. Leandro Quinhentas - A natural striker, I have been forced to play him on the wing to fit my system. Mauro Oliveira - Right back who is one of the best players at the club. Next Season Until we can start an academy, I am looking at treading water, so a repeat of this season would be just fine. Jenlai Season Summary A much better season where we came within a whisker of promotion. Season Details League Table - An excellent campaign where we qualified for the Promotion League. League Fixtures - We were so consistent, though Carroi proved too strong and we had to settle for second place. Promotion League - We had a chance of top spot and promotion going into the final day. Alas, it wasn't to be and we even missed out on a promotion playoff spot and had to settle for third place. Promotion League Fixtures - That loss on the final day cost us promotion. Pre Season Friendlies - It was another strong pre season showing where we only lost twice in our ten matches. Squad - We have exactly the same squad as last season. Squad Dynamics - Whilst not as good as last year, it is still good enough. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - I still don't have an academy. Finances - We are in the red and I don't know how to rectify this. Key Players Rashid Idris - It was a goal laden season from the frontman. João Sequeira - An absolutely cracking year from the defender who played so far above himself. Estenislao López - Another great season from the defender. Leandro Quinhentas - The striker was used primarily in midfield and played well enough. Mauro Oliveira - Despite another solid season, the right back has showed signs of a rapid decline. Next Season A repeat by qualifying for the Promotion League would be a great season. Jenlai Season Summary A season of triumph where we won the league title against all of the odds and secured promotion to the top flight. Season Details League Table - We won the league with ease, securing the title by a large League Fixtures - We had an extraordinary campaign, losing only once and dominating all of our rivals. Promotion League - Such was our dominance in the main league, this was a forgone conclusion. Promotion League Fixtures - Our good form continued as we continued winning. Pre Season Friendlies - We had an undefeated pre season campaign against some strong opposition. Squad - We actually have one fewer player than last year as Rashid Idris retired. Squad Dynamics - Lovely, just lovely. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - There is still no youth academy. Finances - Whilst we are still in the red, the increased prize money in the top division, together with potential domestic cup runs, should help somewhat. Key Players João Sequeira - The most reliable player in the team, the defender was exceptional. Estenislao López - Andorran defender who had a sublime campaign. Leandro Quinhentas - Now playing in his rightful position as the main striker following Rashid Idris' retirement, the Portuguese was ok though had a long barren spell. Mauro Oliveira - Right back who continues to deline. Iván Higuera - Defender who is playing so much better than he should be. Next Season Survive somehow. We were favourites for relegation from the second tier, so our chances will be slim. Jenlai Season Summary A season that defied belief, where we somehow finished fourth and also won the domestic cup, qualifying for European football for the first time. Season Details League Table - We finished fourth and secured European football, against all the odds. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We struggled in the last phase, though we were outstanding in the first part of the league campaign. The 7-0 and 9-3 wins were extraordinary. Copa Constitució - In our first entry into the domestic cup since I became manager, we were sensational, going all the way to the final and defeating F. C. Santa Coloma to life our first major trophy. Pre Season Fixtures - We had a tough set of pre season games and only lost twice, which was pleasing. Squad - An identical squad to what we had last year. Squad Dynamics - For some reason, the team cohesion has collapsed. Which is strange after such a good season. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - I still don't have a youth academy so again, we had no intake this year. Finances - We now have a healthy bank balance, thanks to the prize money in the top flight. Hopefully, once some of the European monies have come in, we will be able to start a youth academy. Key Players João Sequeira - The defender once again played way above himself. Leandro Quinhentas - What a season from the striker, who was simply a goal machine. Iván Higuera - The central defender has surprising managed to maintain his form from last season. Oscar Luna - Playing on the left wing, he formed a formidable combination with frontman Leandro Quinhentas. Jérôme Renou - Primarily used as a left back, the versatile defender was excellent for most of the year. Next Season We over achieved hugely this season, so I cannot expect a repeat. Survival and the start of a youth academy would be just fine. Jenlai Season Summary Another decent season though there was no repeat of last season's cup win. Season Details Europa Conference League - We came so close to causing an upset against Estonians FCI Levadia Tallinn before narrowly losing by three goals to two on aggregate in the first qualifying round. League Table - We settled for another fourth place finish, which is still punching above our weight. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We once again started like a train before losing some form and having to settle for a top half finish. Copa Constitució - There was no repeat of last season's cup heroics as Inter d'Escaldes knocked us out at the quarter final stage. Supercopa Andorrana - A comfortable victory over league champions Inter d'Escaldes saw the club win their first ever Supercopa Andorrana. Pre Season Friendlies - With just three losses in our fifteen games, we had a good, solid pre season campaign. Squad - We finally have a squad! It isn't the best, but they are playing way above their level. Squad Dynamics - Considering most of the squad have only just arrived, this is surprisingly good. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - We finally have an academy and our first intake was pretty good, with right winger Carlos Ruiz YP27E5 already the best player at the club. Finances - We made a healthy profit thanks largely to European football. Now to improve the academy. Key Players João Sequeira - Another great campaign from the defender. Leandro Quinhentas - The striker enjoyed a good season, filled with goals. Estanislao López - The defender played well above his natural level. The longer he keeps this up the better. Jenlai Season Summary A repeat of fourth in the league and a dreadful domestic cup performance was offset somewhat by our best European run to date. Season Details Europa Conference League - An exceptional comeback away to Armenians Pyunik Yerevan after we lost the home leg, sent us through to the second qualifying round before being outclassed by Georgian outfit Dinamo Batumi. League Table - It was another fourth place finish as we consolidated our position. We are still a long way behind third place, however. It was rather pleasing to beat the eventual champions three times this season though. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - After winning our first three league games, I was confident a successful season was on the cards. What followed can only be described as a season of struggle. Copa Constitució - An absolutely dreadful performance at home to second tier team F.C. Ordino, sent us crashing out at the first time of asking. Pre Season Friendlies - With just three defeats in our fourteen games, it was ideal preperation for the new season. Squad - The recent youth intake has strengthened our squad somewhat. Squad Dynamics - Considering most of the squad are new to the club through the academy, this is surprisingly good. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - We enjoyed an exceptional intake, with left wing back Gabriel Solá YP28B18 looking like the brightest prospect. Finances - Our European adventures ensured we made a profit and our bank balance has continued to grow as a result. Key Players Leandro Quinhentas - Our main striker was again one of our top performers. Ignacio Herrera YP27F6 - In his first season in the first team, the teenage central defender was outstanding. José Juan Costa YP28J26 - He has made the right wing slot his own after a string of impressive performances. Juan Manuel Maestre YP28D20 - Our new starting right back has had an exceptional start to his career. José Silva YP28F22 - The newcomer has quickly become a vital part of the team, playing in either central midfield or in the anchor role. Next Season We need to maintain a top half finish. Jenlai Season Summary A season of heartbreak where the title was lost on the final day as we had to settle for a runners up spot. Season Details League Table - After a poor November, we were always in the top two and we were five points clear with two games remaining. It was not to be though and we lost the title on head to head record. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - A terrific start, followed by a dreadful November. The rest of the season we were brilliant, however. Copa Constitució - After our struggles in recent years in the cup, it was great to be back in the final. It was not meant to be though as we again lost out to U.E. Santa Coloma, who also pipped us to the league title. Pre Season Friendlies - With no European competition this season, we had an extended pre season campaign and it was pleasing to only lose three matches. Squad - The youth intakes continue to get stronger and as a result, we are getting better and better. Squad Dynamics - Surprisingly, our team cohesion is at is lowest ebb. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - Without question, it was our best intake to date, with goalkeeper Rafael Guijarro YP29B34 being the standout player. Finances - Despite no European football this season, we still made a small profit. Key Players José Juan Costa YP28J26 - It was another season of impressive performances from the right winger. Juan Manuel Maestre YP28D20 - The right back has formed a lethal partnership with José Juan Costa YP28J26 on the right hand side. Luis Alberto González YP28I25 - In his first campaign in the first team, the central midfielder was a sensation. Ignacio Díaz YP28M29 - Has the made himself an automatic selection at centre half. Gabriele Solà YP28B18 - I converted him into our starting left winger and he never let me down. Next Season Can we go one step further and secure our first ever league title?
