Pre-Season Transfer Window Deadline Day

Only one new signing to report, and that's Fedorovich. He's a player that could possibly grow into a decent player for us, and we can sign him at the end of the loan for 9.25m, if we want to. I'm going to try to develop him.

 

July 2027 - August 2027 Results

A productive pre-season with not many easy games, which clearly showed as once we got into actual matches we didn't lose a single game. We were on the backtrot a lot in the Arsenal game, though. I know, we aren't starting the season in the best spot, but we are 1 of 4 teams who are all with 2 wins, 1 draw. We can climb up fairly easily I would hope.

We remain unbeaten, as a result we move up to 3rd, with the only thing seperating us, Liverpool and Man City is Goal Difference. Fantastic stuff.

Something to note is that Dean Martin has barely been able to play this season, struggling with two injuries one after another. Hopefully he will be back and firing next month, though. October 2027 Results

October is the first of hopefully many months where all we do all month is win. Win, win, win. As a result, we're now the only club in the league that's not lost a match so far, and because of this, we're now top of the league, 3 points seperating us and 2nd.

November 2027 Results

Despite losing to West Ham, we managed to win every other match which keeps us in 1st, even if the gap is now only 2 points, not 3. I forsee that Martin is gonna be a great player for us, right up to the point that he wants to leave, at which point we will get big bucks for him.

This month was not too great for us. We started to unravel a bit near the end of the month, being stomped by Arsenal mainly because the match was 1 DAY after the Chelsea game. We're doing overall well, though. We just need more consistency, and we've managed to just about hold the title this month.

Another unbeaten month with nothing but wins, and Meslier is on the verge of being the top goalkeeper in terms of Clean Sheets, Trincao is reaching near to the top amount of assists so far, and Martin is only 3 goals away from being the top goalscorer! We stay in 1st, our lead growing massively.  We now have 8 points separating us and 2nd, and we're the top goalscorers in the league.

This month has been a bit of a struggle for us, but we're still in the game with a shout. We managed to stay in 1st, albeit now with 2 games left in the league, we're only through by Goal Difference.

Final Month of the Season

Chelsea haven't been doing well at all this season, so I'm really hoping that we win all 3 matches. That would be stunning. Especially if we managed to get to the Champion's Cup Final!

Okay, so a few changes now that I'm back in this save. Since it's the longest save I've done in FM22, I'd like to continue the save. So here's what's going to happen. Or has already happened.
• I'm quitting France ingame so I can focus on the Wolves part of the save.
• I will do two more seasons in the Wolves, then I'll do a new 'save' inside this save (seperate post/thread). Something like 20 years into the future, see what the top clubs in England look like now, including the old ones, like us, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd, Tottenham, Man City and Liverpool. We'll see if there are any fallen giants. Obviously this means I'll be resigning at the end of next season, as the current season as of this post is in November 2028. When I leave it will be June 2030. I'll holiday until June 2050. It might be a little longer before I see a job that catches my fancy for a new 'save' inside the save.#
• At the end of the final season I'll do a final post tallying all of our club's achievements. Right now, this is tallied up to 3 European Super Cup Wins, 1 Carabao Cup Win (Got to the Final twice), won the Euro Cup twice, won the European Champion's Cup once, on the first time of getting to the European Champion's Cup Final, won our first Premier Division Title (we got 3rd in the league once), lost in the Community Shield once which isn't much of an accomplishment, but it's another thing we achieved.
• The new 'save' will use a new tactic as I saw one that I like more than DaveX's. His has served me well but I want to use a new tactic. Infact next season we'll switch to the new tactic. 

 

November 2028 Results

A little rough in the league, but a large portion of our squad had to be rested. We've not lost any of the league games, just not won any. 

This sees us drop from 1st to 3rd with a game in hand. Hopefully next month will be better.

We missed out on the FA Cup (though this is actually the first time we got to the Final of it), and we slipped, after the Watford game we were done. We were close to winning the title, but we picked up too many draws.

We had a really strong friendly period, with us also starring in the Club World Championship and winning it, which is our first trophy of the season. We had 2 matches in the Premier League and won 1, drew another.

As a result, we're in 6th at the start of the season, we're a total of 8 teams that are currently unbeaten. I think our position is going to improve over the next month.

Not the greatest of starts, and it sees us drop down to 7th. I can actually see us getting fired this season not just quitting. Jeez. Especially if performances don't improve. I mean we had some good ones but inconsistent.

It was here that I changed our tactic to a custom Counter Attacking tactic to stay responsible in defence while giving quick shots back. We saw more success that way.

It was a little rough as we had some hard games, but I worked on tweaking the tactic to make it work.

Here I managed to get the tactic working better for the most part, as you can see when we beat Man Utd and Man City with ease.

We finish with 79 points from 38 games.

This month saw us get trounced by Aston Villa, sure. But we then went on to win the FA Cup, a first in my reign's history.

 

Accomplishments

So, let's look at our accomplishments over this save at Wolves, and close our chapter of managing Wolves. I'm still going to be using the same save, but holidaying for 20 years, and then picking up an interesting Premier League job. We'll see. Obviously, we're going to look at the current top 7, including Wolves, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd, Tottenham and Man City once the holiday is over, and I'll link to the new post in another post here. And link this whole post with Wolves in that one. Like a... save universe, haha.
Okay. So, we've had two total Carabao Cup Finals, with one total Carabao Cup Win, three European Super Cup Final and European Super Cup wins, won the Premier Division once, was runners up for the Community Shield once, got to the FA Cup Final twice and won it once, got to the European Champion's Cup Final once and won it, we also won the Club World Championship once (which wasn't easy since we were put into it at the group stage instead of close to the final, and also finished runner's up in the league two years in a row after winning it. Bottom of the line is we won a lot of stuff. Sorry for rambling.

 

So, what's next?

Obviously, with me leaving Wolves would have to hire someone else. So who did they hire?

I didn't think this was going to happen, but they're likely to replace all of them with good staff.

Now that would be some sight, Jurgen Klopp being favourites for the role? Very nice.

This is also something. Very interesting.

I just realized I became a legend at Wolves. Nice.

And Klopp takes the job. Let's see his managerial attributes compared to mine ingame.
