BoxToBoxFM Posted October 21, 2021 Author Share Posted October 21, 2021 2034/35 Season - January We made one signing in January, I felt we were lacking depth in central midfield so we went out and bought Carragher from Liverpool for 50m - 20m up front and 30m in instalments. As it's the final season I wasn't too bothered about overpaying slightly and ruining the club financially - we've spent £291m this season! We gad a horrible time to start of January, continuing our awful form from the previous month but a couple easy games against lower league teams in the cup I hope we've got our mojo back and we'll have a more green month in February, there's been too many red and orange dots on the schedule for my liking recently. Valencia have overtaken us at the top of the league so we have to make sure there's no slip ups next month, as winning the league is the board's expectations and also mines. The cup defeat was frustrating as was the massive game against Valencia, we threw away a 2-0 lead against Villa and just didn't turn up against Espanyol. The worst thing is, I've got no idea how to fix it. Oh, and to start of the next month we play Real Madrid. We're letting the title slip as we keep losing and Valencia keep winning. Thankfully the board still have a little bit of trust in us, it would be a very sour ending to the save if we got sacked! Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

FM22 is now out and I am playing that a lot but I do also want to finish this season and finish this save, so I will continue to sporadically play it and update over here on the forums.
