Jogo Bonito Posted December 31, 2020 Share Posted December 31, 2020 I've just progressed from BETA to the latest version of the full game. In the BETA there was a very regular error surrounding descriptions of players, and this is still the same in the very latest full version (new game started). In a player profile it may say his media description is centre back. He may be able to play both DC and DR. Under the tab at the top where it describes him and best role, it doesn't match his media description. In the player search in scouting it also doesn't represent the best position accurately. This applies to strikers being described as wingers or inverted wingers too. Here are some examples - look at Lewis Page first. Scouting says DRL. Profile shows no ability for the right. Then Harry Charsley scouting says inverted winger. Profile tab under name shows positions as MC and AMC. Circles on the pitch agree with that. And Timmy Abraham, scouting says winger. Profile page and media description show striker. These are just a few examples, there are so many like it. Central defenders and full backs are often wrong like this too. Edit 7th January... Here is another example - Victor Nielsen (Aarhus Fremad) - ID 27054202 I'm not suggesting that anybody would seriously be looking to sign this player, but if that can be ignored... Scouting page says M/AM (RL) / ST (RL) with description as Winger. Firstly, I didn't even know there is a code for ST (RL) as I thought it was always ST (C) But then inside the player profile, it shows DR with media description of full back. It then highlights his best position as MR even though I only set natural positions to be mentioned, this should be DR surely? Also, it clearly shows no ability to play Striker. Have I made my points clear enough or is it not considered important? To me it is important, hence my first ever post on this forum through 15 years of FM enjoyment. It massively affects how I feel about the whole transfer and scouting experience as it is clearly not in sync. Thanks in advance for your response. Thanks for the reply. This has happened in all of my FM21 save games so I am surprised if you haven't found this common. I have uploaded the game file that I was using at the time I took those screen shots "Walsall.fm" but if you need any of the other save game files it is still happening even on new games like one I started a few weeks ago. Even in my latest save I have a DM being represented as 'inverted winger' which is not a good match. If it helps to identify the error, I have positions set to 'show natural positions only' but I would have thought in theory that should reduce the error rather than increase it? Please let me know as it really is one of the rare and repeating issues that have reduced my FM21 enjoyment. Thanks. Edit: I have also uploaded AGF.fm as that gives you an alternative file to compare, and I spotted that I sent a screen shot for that when editing my post on 7th January 2021.
