thewonderer57
Hi, So I have a saved game on the demo version. I'm a few months into it. So tomorrow, when my game arrives, I will install the game, and then apply the patch whenever it comes out tomorrow. So what are the chances that my saved game will be corrupt, either when trying to launch the game, or maybe a season or two down the line? My demo saved game is going well, although I wouldn't bother with it tomorrow if there was a risk that tomorrow's patch comprimizes my saved game file. Thanks. jod123
Any saved game can corrupt and has nothing to do with the patch. That is why it is important to have back ups of your saved game. The patch definitely will not compromise your saved game file or make it corrupt or anything.
442master
the patch will fix the problems in your demo save too so it will be fine. but you wont get the database update you'll have too start a new game for that.
pelicanstuff
but equally you won't benefit from any database updates that are in the patch. edit: haha, beat me to it.
