When buying the game from steam, i can download it up to 5 computers. can i run them at the same time? if i download the game to a friends computer would he be able to play with me? the logical answer is "NO" because than 5 friends would only have to buy 1 copy, but i was wondering if this is the case with this game or other steam games as well? Well I have CSS and DODS already and I know I can install steam and login to my account and install it on other computers. The thing with that is you need to be logged in to play them. With FM apparently you don't need to be logged in, so I think there may be a chance that you could install on one pc, log off, then login on another pc and install again. They should be able to play then while in offline mode or maybe even with out Steam. So it looks possible but I don't know for sure. After authentication we'll find out, I'm sure it'll be tested. Arda82 Posted November 12, 2008 Author Share Posted November 12, 2008 That's why I think this new system is bizzare and in the long run won't work. true. steam is an excellent way of reaching out people whom cant have the boxed copy of fm09... even if they do in some countries games release at a much later time but the authentication is an issue i hope SI does not get affected. if they cant reach the sales they expect, in this economic crisis, they might get hit bad.
