lfc1304
Thanks for the reply. Is a 2.5 hour battery life normal or is it poor?

El_Cid
Thanks for the reply. Is a 2.5 hour battery life normal or is it poor? not if you want to play, that means somewhere around 45 minutes for playing FM
pelicanstuff
They should both run it fine, the first one has better graphics but is a bit chunky. I would say the second one is likely to be the better machine overall (other than the graphics) but Advent aren't noted for their build quality, AFAIK. lfc1304
Thanks for the replies. in regards of the battery am i right in thinking that if i am using it at home i can plug it into to recharge and still play. so if i play FM at home for say 4 hours the laptop would not need to be recharged as it is plugged in at the mains? solstar
If you play or use the laptop while plugged in you kill off the battery life in the long-term.
lfc1304
okay how long would it take to recharge a battery after 2.5 hours of playing? would it take 2.5 hours to fully recharge?
solstar
depends on how it powers. Generally it should take about 1.5 hrs to fully charge but this is based on the fact that it isnt being overused. You can play while it charges and then unplug once its loaded then as its dying, replug and so on. However using it while plugged continuously will harm the battery life.
