GloryFan2002 Posted August 10, 2018 Share Posted August 10, 2018 Bankrupt Bournemouth Challenge Welcome to the Bankrupt Bournemouth challenge, this is a challenge that involves using English Premier League side AFC Bournemouth and is playable from FM 16 (Bournemouth's first season in the top flight onwards) The situation that you find yourself in when you take over Bournemouth is a difficult one, the club i bereft off money and has too sell, sell, sell to get the wage budget down. Your task is too keep the club up using the kids that are left after selling off your top players before taking Bournemouth too be one of the top teams in the world, RULES FOR THE CHALLENGE -Any version from FM 2016 onwards is allowed -You must use AFC Bournemouth -No additional databases, but any database size is allowed and you are allowed to load any leagues you want -When taking over you have to attempt to sell every over 18 player in the squad. (To do this you must transfer list every player in the squad and offer them out until they are sold, if players don't sell (you must offer them out for frees if you can't get a fee), you must offer mutual termination to the 10 highest paid non-selling players (or however many the transfer budget allows)) -You must accept all offers for players season 1 (unless they are asking for you to still pay a large amount of the players wages) -Any players left after the selling attempts can be used in your survival attempt -You can sign players on loan but you must be paying 0% of their wage and no monthly fee -After the first season, if you survive that is, your wage bill is only allowed to increase 10% per season and you are only allowed to spend 25% of your given transfer budget until season 5 where it increases to 50% and then season 10 where you can spend it all. If there are any queries about these rules or suggestions for further rules would be welcomed. Post Rules -I will be pretty lax on these but for the first season please post a screenshot of your transfer dealings so we know your not bringing in anyone you shouldn't be and also post a screenshot of your wage bill to show you are only increasing it by 10% The main aim for this challenge is to survive the financial hardships to survive the first season as well as going on to win the Champions League.
