Manager experience and badges

How much does this play a part in how well you do?

 

Started as Sunderland a few times with lowest experience and ability and do shockingly bad every time. 

 

Am I just terrible at the game or does this play a bigger part than I give it credit for?

Think of it like a difficulty setting. No badges or experience is making a given save as hard as it possibly can be. If you consider it in realistic manner - would professionals immediately respect and loyally follow absolutely anyone that was put in front of them by a board or owner? No, absolutely not. And that reaction wouldn't be limited the professional footballers. Its not making a save overtly "easy" to have the experience and badges at the expected level, because you still have to earn the players trust, still have to meet goals, perform, etc.

Always try try to make a save as realistic as possible by starting Sunday league rep and no badges but always seem to be terrible season after season.
