Maybe a quick fix for you brain boxes

You need to edit some values in the skin settings, which can be found in the settings folder. There should be a file called "[skin name] settings.xml". Open it and navigate to to following:

<!-- Inbox -->
    <colour name="inbox_sidebar_background" red="48" green="53" blue="60"/> <!-- Box background colour - red_replacement -->
    <colour name="inbox_content_background" red="41" green="43" blue="50"/> <!-- Box background colour - red_replacement -->
 

If you change the values for red green and blue in those two lines, the white areas will update accordingly.
