Maybe a quick fix for you brain boxes

Could someone advise how to make the inbox screen darker? The rest of the skin looks fine but this is bright as hell.

 

Please make it fool proof as im not wizard!

You need to edit some values in the skin settings, which can be found in the settings folder. There should be a file called "[skin name] settings.xml". Open it and navigate to to following:

    <colour name="inbox_sidebar_background" red="48" green="53" blue="60"/> <!-- Box background colour - red_replacement -->
    <colour name="inbox_content_background" red="41" green="43" blue="50"/> <!-- Box background colour - red_replacement -->
 

If you change the values for red green and blue in those two lines, the white areas will update accordingly.
