roggiotis Posted December 23, 2017 Author Share Posted December 23, 2017 Now ,regarding the tactics , i have some general preferences. I prefer 2 pairs of wide players , i feel more ''secure''. I also don't prefer players in AMC position behind the ST. I don't think you need more than 1 striker to win games That drives me to 4-1-4-1 or something similar ,4-5-1,5-4-1 etc ,the only way to use an AMC is a 4-1-4-1-0 (or 4-5-1-0 ,5-4-1-0). I don't think 4-1-4-1 is only a very defensive system. Regarding the roles ,IWB is a role i like ,Mezzala also,in wide positions i like WM because you can customise to play as you want to ,any other role has some restrictions, in DM i would like the HB but Anchor man seems more stable. All that of course are general thoughts , in the field that could change. So as a basic tactic in pre-season i ll train 4-1-4-1 and these are the players my ass.manager select As an alternative,I have many players who play at AMR/AML position also STs. in case i play a '' demanding '' 4-4-2 ,then CM(D) is a must for me. Again ,these are the players the ass.manager propose But i think this one must be a starter , either as a Mezzala or a ST, we ll see.... So we are ready to start the pre-season. Olavide was for 2nd consecutive game POM but he injured Gorozia came back from his injury , i left Stubbs on the bench because he was tired ,l played 4-1-4-1-0 with Gorozia Treq.
