speedas
I would like to play FM16 without launching Steam at all. Is it possible? I don't own the physical disk.
FrazT
How did you buy the game? You need to use steam to activate it and thereafter you can run it in offline mode, but you need steam
speedas
Instant Gaming. My game is activated and I can launch the game from Windows Explorer without Steam. My problem is: I moved my user data folder in another disk by using the Steam 'Set Launch Options...' function. But if I launch fm.exe from Windows Explorer, my user data will be set back in the default disk. That's mean I'm dependent on Steam if I want to use FM16 the way I want. FrazT
OK- so what is the issue with using steam?
speedas
No particular issue to be honest. Without going into details, being able to launch FM from Explorer would have made a couple of things slightly faster and more efficient in my case. Being dependent on another application can also be a problem when the last won't work well.
