Drunk Beware
Decided to start a game at the bottom of Scotland. Original expectations were to just improve the squad. Signed 14 players on frees and released one player on a free. Had a fantastic season and finished 1st: Pos Team P W D L F A GD Pts 1st EAST STIRLINGSHIRE 36 32 2 2 129 41 88 98 2nd Cowdenbeath 36 11 19 6 58 53 5 52 3rd Berwick 36 12 14 10 57 64 -7 50 4th Dumbarton 36 10 17 9 60 61 -1 47 5th Montrose 36 11 10 15 61 71 -10 43 6th Forfar 36 8 16 12 56 58 -2 40 7th Elgin 36 9 13 14 61 69 -8 40 8th Albion Rovers 36 10 8 18 50 68 -18 38 9th Annan 36 8 13 15 35 59 -24 37 10th Stenhousemuir 36 7 12 17 54 77 -23 33 Team Performance: Scottish Third Division: 1st Scottish Cup: Fourth Round Scottish League Cup: Second Round Scottish League Challenge Cup: Quarter Final ******************************************** So after an excellent first season i thought the second was going to be alot harder and to prepare for a relegation battle. The board wanted me to stay clear of relegation. I got another 9 players on frees after releasing 4 players and selling 2 for a total of £95,000. Also i spent £20,000 of that on another new player. How wrong i was: Pos Team P W D L F A GD Pts 1st EAST STIRLINGSHIRE 36 28 2 6 110 55 55 86 2nd Airdrie Utd 36 16 10 10 61 43 18 58 3rd Queen's Park 36 14 11 11 57 55 2 53 4th Brechin 36 15 7 14 56 53 3 52 5th Stranraer 36 12 12 12 44 50 -6 48 6th Clyde 36 10 13 13 52 55 -3 43 7th Alloa 36 11 10 15 50 62 -12 43 8th Ayr 36 11 8 17 53 65 -12 41 9th Berwick 36 10 10 16 49 68 -19 40 10th Peterhead 36 6 11 19 41 67 -26 29 Team Performance: Scottish Second Division: 1st Scottish Cup: Fourth Round Scottish League Cup: Second Round Scottish League Challenge Cup: Second Round ******************************************** Now onto the third season in Division One, surely i have met my match now? Well we will have to wait and see it's looking like it's going to be much closer this season. Although i have won the Challenge Cup with a 5-1 victory against Montrose in the final. Lost in the League Cup 3rd round against Dundee 3-1. And have the Scottish Cup 3rd round coming up against Queen of the South. This is how the table stands so far: Pos Team P W D L F A GD Pts 1st St. Johnstone 12 6 5 1 22 9 13 23 2nd Dunfermline 12 7 2 3 22 15 7 23 3rd Inverness CT 12 6 4 2 21 16 5 22 4th EAST STIRLINGSHIRE 12 6 2 4 30 23 7 20 5th Hamilton 12 4 4 4 15 15 0 16 6th Partick Thistle 12 3 5 4 12 17 -5 14 7th Stirling 12 4 1 7 11 20 -9 13 8th Livingston 12 2 6 4 18 22 -4 12 9th Queen's Park 12 2 5 5 13 16 -3 11 10th Queen of Sth 12 1 4 7 15 26 -11

nerner
That happened to me once, I bought 3 players for E.Stirlingshire, and then ran away with the league. I holidayed the whole season, and was so surprised when i saw our 103 points that i nearly collapsed.
