Has anyone managed a team during presidential elections? Do the candidates promise new players / head coaches / projects just like IRL? Thanks. eple Posted November 11, 2013 Share Posted November 11, 2013 Yes, at Athletic Bilbao. He promised to sign Iago Herrerin (sp?), a player I had released for free a year before. It's probably because I can only sign Basque players and the selection of players are small. After the election nothing happened, but I remember correctly it's was the sitting chairman that won it. I was just relieved he didn't spend money on a goalkeeper I didn't need. I'm sure it's more fun if your are managing Real Madrid or some other rich club.
