Psycrow Posted August 14, 2013 Share Posted August 14, 2013 Bored of playing same old campaigns, I attempted to create a completely different system for English football which also includes 8-team championship play-offs after the regular season of the Premier League. I simulated one season to test it and found out that while Man City won the regular season, Liverpool won the play-offs - however, in the game's history it went down as Man City's title (even though Champions League places were awarded according to the play-off results). nine_iron Posted August 14, 2013 Share Posted August 14, 2013 I guess the game sees it a bit like rugby with its playoffs. The league winners are the league winners and the playoff winners are the champions. I know rugby league works this way and I think Union is the same.
